@alia Yes, that’s what I meant. Though I guess it could also stand for Rodgers and Hart, who wrote some very good musicals together too, so sorry for not clarifying. 😛 My favorite musical composer is actually Jerome Kern, but I thought you’d probably recognize Rodgers and Hammerstein better. Did you like Cinderella? Have you heard the Jul…[Read more]

@alia Have you listened to any of the old R&H musicals? You like old stuff, right? (I’m forever lamenting that @seekjustice doesn’t. 😉 )

@alia 😛 How touching.
@seekjustice Haha, I got your tag, and that’s why I’m here. (Other than the fact that I just got home from a family activity and would have gotten on to check anyhow because I do that every day around 4:00 and 5:00 because that’s when you wake up…yeah, other than that. 😉 )
Have you listened to anything else from that…[Read more]

@seekjustice @alia Talking about musicals without me?!! How dare you???

@seekjustice Hey, if you’re still awake, the reason I fell asleep so early yesterday was because there have been roofers working at our house yesterday and today starting at about six o’clock a.m., so the banging on the roof has been making it hard to get any sleep. 😛
Got to go now, but hopefully I’ll see you tonight!

@seekjustice I’m not sure whether that’s a good or a bad thing… 😛 Does that mean you just don’t remember spoilers people tell you, or does it mean you can’t discuss books after you read them…? 😛
@alia I like to write sci-fi when I don’t have to do much research. 😉 I love researching history, and everyday – or non-everyday – things, but I…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh no! If you read our conversation…wow, that contained MAJOR spoilers!! 😛 Hopefully you can still enjoy the books. 😛

@seekjustice Haha, yes! 😛 By the way, speaking of Alia’s story, you should definitely read the Mars Diaries by Sigmund Brouwer. Seriously. They’re amazing. 😀
@alia 😉 You like The Princess Bride?
I’m very interested in how you make your new story different from Brouwer’s. I love the premise, because of course I love his books and I lov…[Read more]

😛 I’m here for a little bit, Alia, if you’re still here.

@alia I might be on tonight, but it’ll most likely be late. How late do you wanna stay up? (can’t let @rochellaine and @seekjustice have all the late night fun 😉 )

@alia Cool! You have to save the collage to your computer as a JPEG or whatever file it saves as, and then you click the little landscape icon at the far right of the “Visual” panel here on the forum. That’ll open up a little lightbox, and you click on the “search” icon which will open up your documents so you can select the picture from your c…[Read more]

@alia You haven’t read the Viking Quest series??!! That may be the best his-fic series for teens ever written!!!
😛 Well, anyway, I like it a lot. Love it a lot. Adore it from the depths of my heart and my imagination. Something like that.
In other words, yes. You should look into them. 😉

@catwing That’s something I’m not very good at myself, since I had several people tell me one of the guys in my last book had a really quick change of opinion which should have been explained better. That was two years ago, though, and I think I’ve gotten better, but I can’t tell yet since I haven’t finished a book yet.
However, I would assume…[Read more]
