  • Oompaloompa’s have taken over the world!

  • Hey, cool ideas.

    I’ve got one.

You live in a world where no one walks, they all ride miniature trains. One day the trains stop working

Is that good? I’m new at this.

  • Wow. I just posted last night and already there are so many people willing to help. Wow.

Thanks to everyone for your advice, and thanks to everyone who offered to help me.

I will remember to not make a love triangle unless absolutely necessary… And I will attempt to stay away from cliches.

@Ingrid, thanks for the warning. 🙂 I used to be…[Read more]

Yes. Have you ever heard of Aksah? She was the daughter of Caleb. You can find her story in Joshua 15:16-19.
I made a short story about her.

Some is the key word. I like so many books. But I would have to say that one of my favorite books is: The Hawk and the Jewel, by Lori Wick.

  • Hi everyone. I am new to this place.
I am also new to writing for people other then my family.

I have this idea that has been bouncing around in my head, and I need some help on the plot aspects of things.

I have characters, I have a problem, I have the solution, I have a bad guy, and I have a small outline for the trilogy.
    I just need help…[Read more]

Cool. I’ll have to look around. 🙂
I agree. I love to go to my history book, open to a page, and create a short story about the person that is featured on that page.
My favorite time period is medieval, like Isabela of Spain. I also like creating historical fiction about characters in the Bible.
I look forward to seeing you too, when I have…[Read more]

    • Medieval history is so much fun to write about! Have you ever tried writing a story about a very obscure minor character in the Bible? One of my favorite books is Twice Freed by Patricia St. John, and it’s about Onesimus. It really makes the tiny book of Philemon come alive. 🙂 What are some of your favorite books?

I enjoy writing Christian Fiction. My favorite genre is Romance, Historical, and Sci-Fi. I am currently working on a Dystopian Sci-Fi.

    • That’s neat! I think several people on here also have experience writing dystopian sci-fi, if you ever need help. 🙂 Christian historical fiction is one of my favorite genres, too. It’s so much fun being able to weave real-life stories of people who stood up for their faith, etc. into fiction. What is your favorite time period to write about? I…[Read more]
