I really like using Scrivener and ProWritingAid. I also use Abbie Emmons’ 3-Act Story Structure worksheet and How to Write a Novel Using the Snowflake Method by Randy Ingermanson.
I also have a second blog with a page for a bunch of resources (click here). 🙂

My writing is going pretty well actually. I’m almost done with another round of edits for my main project (my superhero WIP), and I’m hoping to send it to my editor next week. So yeah after about a year of really hardcore editing on this story, I’m super excited to be in the final polishing stages. XD (plus I have a plot bunny that’s…[Read more]

@e-k-seaver Whoah that is SO WEIRD. That test gave me ISFJ XD I don’t what to think about this because I relate to EVERY INFP thing I’ve ever seen, lol

Well, I really liked the first draft of the first book, which I think wasn’t originally intended to be a retelling at all, if I recall correctly? So unless you feel it’s necessary to go along with your original plans, I’m sure you’d do great with a non-retelling plot. Or maybe you could do something Scarlet Pimpernel inspired, w…[Read more]

Yeah, adding a satisfactory ending would be really hard after that. I mean, if you had a new leader come in and save the day just before Zac is killed, readers would probably laugh at it as too convenient. Whereas if you had all the executions attract the new leader’s attention, but he got there right after Zac’s death, that w…[Read more]
