@valtmy Thanks! I’ll have a look in a bit.
Hm, I thought I gave you some comments here on the forums. Did I not? I guess you still want more detailed comments in the document? Okay, I’ll be on a long car ride today, so I should be able to reread it and actually comment this time.
Thanks for reminding me. I often forget about something unl…[Read more]

@seekjustice That’s why I think the 50s or 60s would be the best times to travel back and live in. They’re far enough forward that we’d have sufficient enough technology so the culture shock wouldn;t be too great, and just at the right crossing point where women were free to do most things, but were still expected to act like ladies and the…[Read more]

@seekjustice Sounds great! I’ll have to see if I can get the chance to read it.
I haven’t read any of Amy Carmichael’s books in a while, but I absolutely loved Mimosa!
Well, I think if I read it now I might have a different impression than I had when I was younger. 😉
Haha! 😀 I? Old fashioned? Why on earth would you say that? 😛 But yea…[Read more]

@seekjustice I haven’t been doing a whole lot of reading lately, and haven’t read many of the newest ones we have gotten, but I do believe I’ve seen that one among the collection. You say it’s good?
Ah, that’s sort of how I feel about Amy Carmichael. Have you read any of her books?
It has been forever since I read it, and my eleven-year-old p…[Read more]

@seekjustice We get the two or three new ones each year, keeping our collection up to date. However, I believe there were a couple we deliberately didn’t buy because we already had multiple biographies of the person.
Yes, I’ve read those. 🙂 Actually, I think Betty Green was my least favorite of the women biographies. 😛 A few of the ones I li…[Read more]

@seekjustice So do we. I think we have almost the entire collection, actually. That and Henty’s books form the largest sets of books in our library. Which YWAM book is your favorite?

@seekjustice Nice. Those books are great.
@valtmy I did grant you access to the document, but I don’t see you there. I hope you got it. 😉

@catwing Hope for the best. 😛 Our sheep never cared for the electric fence, but knocked it down quite often. Our pygmy goat babies lived inside a six foot tall chicken wire fence, but escaped probably twice a day. (so did the mamas.)
In other words, Good luck! 😉
@seekjustice Cool. Is it by YWAM?

@valtmy Ok, I found something! 😀
It’s something I’ve been planning to polish up for a while, but keep putting aside.
So, several years ago I wrote a serial story for a “newspaper” my family did just among ourselves (we read the two pages or so every evening together) and I really like the ideas and everything, in fact, it kept my family…[Read more]

@catwing Have you ever had goats before? Do your goats like to escape their pen?(Have you heard the saying, “if you can throw water through it, a goat can get through it?”)
I imagine it would be helpful. 😛
Ah, I see. I hope it goes smoothly.
@valtmy How long do you have? Do you want something to read to alleviate your boredom? (No pr…[Read more]

@seekjustice Hey, I’m back! Are you still doing nothing? 😉
@catwing Is it because you are a cheshire catwing that you keep disappearing and appearing? 😛
@valtny Are you still here?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #19 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 9 months ago
@seekjustice I’m down for that. 😀 Just make sure when you move here you move near us, ok? 😛
@valtmy I disappear all the time, though in my case it’s usually “when sleep comes, it comes.” 😉 Are you here now?
I’m going to disappear for about a half hour or hour because I’m running an errand with my mom. So, I’ll let you all know wh…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha! 😛 It’s just a symbol now, I suppose. It still hangs in its original glass case in Washington’s front foyer/hallway/whatever-it’s-called. 😛 It was really cool to see it, but unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take pictures inside the building. 🙁
By the length of your list, won’t you have to stay in America for nearly a…[Read more]

@seekjustice Guess what? Today we went to tour Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington, and there was the actual key to the Bastille!!! Did you know it was there? Apparently Lafayette sent it to Washington after the storming of the Bastille at the start of the French Revolution, saying it was “the symbol of liberty to the father of li…[Read more]

@seekjustice I really liked it! 😀 I really need to get my family into more musicals. So far, they all turn up their noses at it. 😉
Sadly, I too have to depart. May your writing prosper!
