Wow, looks like Seekjustice took care of that for you. 😉 I think she covered it really well, so I’ll just leave it at that. 🙂

@alia I actually just figured it out myself (I think).
I use canva.com to design a bunch of stuff (it’s free to make an account). All you’d have to do is create almost like a logo type thing. Check this out to see some examples of what buttons look like. I just made mine using a blank logo template (on canva). here’s what it looks like:

So i…[Read more]

@alia 😀 😀 😀 😀
Sometimes, I suppose, I’m just in a rambling mood. And no matter what I write at those times, it always seems to turn out a ramble. But, at least it has amused you. 😉
How close or far from your character was the analyzation, really? I mean, if you already picked a name, you must have picked a character, right?
So, is th…[Read more]

@seekjustice @alia Forgive me, both of you. I believe I’m in a rambling mood tonight. I just totally rambled on for hours in my posts to both of you. 😛
I hope you don’t get too confused or bogged down in my mental spiderwebs. 😉
(How would you get “bogged down” in “spiderwebs?” I’ve always known I was horrible at symbolism, but this is really bad.)

@alia I often go into a book with one opinion of a name and come out with another opinion. If I originally hated a name, and the books hero had the name, I usually like the name afterwards, or the other way around. 😛
So basically, whatever you use it for, I think the name will mold itself to your character, in your readers’ eyes.
However, you…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, yes. I love cliches!!! But while I enjoy cliches being made fun of, I actually like real cliches used seriously. I guess…hm, what sort of cliches did I use in my short stories? 😛 I didn’t do it on purpose. I don’t mind if I did, I just never thought of it before. Are stupid doctors cliche? Valtmy seemed to think they…[Read more]

Hi, all!
I’ve been thinking about adding a page on my website with blog buttons from the writer bloggers I follow. But I’m not quite sure how to go about acquiring the buttons. I imagine I just contact the blogger somehow and request it? If you want your blog button to be added to my list, I’d be happy to do that. 🙂

@seekjustice Yes, we had a good time. The sermon was nice. It was about going to a secret place with God, and just talking with Him, without other distractions. I certainly don’t do that enough!
Okay, sounds great. 🙂
So am I, actually, since it’s time for dinner. 😛 See you later!

@seekjustice The blurb sounds quite interesting! (I agree with @jenwriter17, that you didn’t sound at all selfish in the original post.)
I did have to read the blurb a couple of times to figure out what was going on, as I was mixing up Yilla and the queen, but I think that might have just been that I was doing other things at the same time, so…[Read more]

@seekjustice @jenwriter17 Sorry for dropping out on you. My sister and I decided to go to the Wednesday evening service at our church. 🙂

@seekjustice well, if you find any good ones, let us know. 😉
I have to leave now. Happy writing! (I probably won’t be on much the next couple weeks, but I’ll be blogging).

@seekjustice That sounds interesting! 🙂 I don’t have any suggestions, but yet I don’t know much about writing blurbs.
(I saw your post in my email; you didn’t come across as selfish to me. We’re here to help each other. 😉 )

@seekjustice That is the absolute WORST thing about being sick!!! I always say so. I don’t mind the feeling of being sick half as much as the feeling of being strangled and incapable of song. How can you properly express feelings without music? Words alone just don’t carry it. 😛
Hope you get better soon!
A new project?? Is it a secr…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’m only a couple pages in, but I’m liking it so far. 😀
Blurbs are hard, aren’t they?

@jenwriter17 Not being able to sing high notes could just mean you need practice. 😉
Okay, well, I’ve got to go now. I’ll probably be on for a bit tonight. Bye!
