@alia Sorry, I can’t be on right now 🙁 maybe later, but I’m not sure.

@alia I definitely know how that feels. I think God wants me to do one thing, I get super excited about it, and then I think He’s telling me to do something different. It can be hard to let go of the original plans. That’s when I have to just trust God and His will for me.
I’ll be praying for you! <3

@jenwriter17 Sorry for disappearing! 😛 I got distracted by my sister’s dog. My mom let him out of his pen to play in the yard and he was so adorable…
😛 I’ve got some other stuff to do now, but I’ll probably be on in a little while or tonight, so I’ll see you later if you’re on then.

@rochellaine Sorry if I responded too late and you had to go, but I have to leave now 🙁
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYONE! (I know I’m early 😛 )

@rochellaine (ooh you’re doing camp nano? 🙂 ) @seekjustice @alia @ariel-ashira @catwing @dekreel @dragon-snapper I’m on, working on rewriting and more website stuff.
*happy sigh* I love how, even though there’s just a few of us left here, we’re still blowing through the Writers’ Corners. 😀

@rochellaine That’s totally okay, I kinda forgot I even asked the questions! 😀
I haven’t figure out an exact year yet, but probably around the middle of the depression. 1934-ish I guess. That might change though depending on what works best for my story.

@jenwriter17 I’m so sorry! I completely forgot about answering your questions about the Great Depression! 🙁
I have a question of my own, though. In what year exactly is your book set? Because the Great Depression covered a whole decade, and I’d like to get my facts accurate. 😉

@seekjustice We eat crackers with toppings and dips all the time too. (Biscuit is a totally different food here.) The crackers we eat are mostly Saltine types, if you’ve ever hear of those…and I’m rather doubtful? Snacks don’t seem to have the same names across the globe even if they are similar. 😛 The most famous example of that I think is…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha. 🙂
In my family we usually stay up pretty late, and basically the rule is as long as you can be up in time to do school in the morning you can stay up as late as you want. 😛 Some of us like to stay up later than others.
It varies. 😉 Last night I had yogurt with frozen blackberries, and tonight it’s tea and some sort of c…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha. Once around Christmastime I put on a playlist of my favorites on my phone and was playing it while doing housework, and my mom got really confused because it was going from a hymn to a folk song to a Christmas song to a song from a musical. She had to stop me and ask if it was a playlist or what, because the songs totally d…[Read more]

@seekjustice Since churches are made up of imperfect humans, I guess every church must have it’s imperfections. But it’s nice to know we can grow in Christ.
So, you didn’t answer my question about whether you were listening to anything today. 😉 By the way, what made you leave so suddenly earlier? Lunch?

@seekjustice I always get scared when someone asks me to describe something, because I’m horrible at descriptions. I feel like I didn’t answer your question… 😛

@seekjustice Yes, the words are more similar to the older hymns. I suppose this is something that only someone who has studied music extensively would notice, but the style of music is rather different from that of the traditional hymns. I can’t analyze it, as my brother could. I can only have a vague notion that something doesn’t sound ri…[Read more]

@seekjustice Don’t take for certain what I said about “How Deep the Father’s Love.” I actually don’t remember what it sounds like or any of the lyrics or anything. I don’t think it’s in our hymnbook, and that’s why I don’t know it better than I do. I have no real idea whether it’s a bridge hymn or not. 😉 That was just a guess.

@seekjustice Oh yes, no, my headache’s gone, thankfully! 😀
Yes, I know most of those. I think “How Deep the Father’s Love” might be what we call a “bridge” hymn, and we don’t sing it possibly for that reason. I’m not sure. I’ve heard it a couple of times when we go to conferences and stuff. “Come Thou Fount” is one we sing quite often. 🙂 …[Read more]

@seekjustice Ooooh!! I just got your document! Haha, it would be very unusual for me to be asleep at ten thirty p.m., wouldn’t it? 😛
I just spent a lovely hour and a half singing hymns with a couple of my sisters and brothers at the piano. 😀 😀 😀 Do you ever do that with siblings or friends? I wonder if you know many of the same hymns we…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, haha! How silly of me. Of course June 1st would be Sunday for you too. So you get to start a day before I do, but you end before I do too. 🙂
Not really. Talking to you about singing groups last night reminded me of a singing group I like, so I’ve listened to a couple of songs by a folk type singing group from the 50s…[Read more]

@seekjustice I can chat for a little bit, but I’ve got a headache, so I might randomly decide to take a nap without giving you notice. 😉 Just warning you ahead of time. 😛
Did you realize that both times this year Camp NaNoWriMo started on a Sunday for me and a Monday for you, so you got to start day of and I have to wait? 😛
