If that was all, I encountered far worse things in the ‘Space Trilogy’ and was no more than briefly annoyed. Okay. I’ll go for it.
By the way, I wouldn’t recommend the Space Trilogy to anyone. It’s just not worth anything spiritually enriching you might glean from it. Too many gross and suggestive things about it, and a few blurred lines here…[Read more]

Oh and you mentioned someone had a vision that was kinda obscene. Was it just… gross? Because I think I’ve encountered some pretty icky dreams and visions and a lot of other things reading C. S. Lewis’s ‘Space Trilogy’, which I didn’t like, but mostly for other reasons.

@daeus Hey Daeus, we actually HAVE the Count of Monte Cristo, and my Mom said I could read it if I asked you whether or not it has inappropriate content, cause she said she’s seen some movies of the story and they had some pretty bad stuff in them. Was that just Hollywood?

Fantastic. You will not regret it. I would not recommend it otherwise. Do expect it to be far more intense than a Dickens novel though.
If I remember correctly part of the vision included a nude Cleopatra and maybe two other ancients of names forgotten to me, or maybe I’m not remembering correctly, but it was only a passing reference.

The villain, if there is a villain (and there are times you can go without them), must not merely oppose the MC in a physical sense. He must (at least usually) oppose him on a mental/spiritual level as well.
