Oof…yeah, I feel that. Plotting can be really hard! I’ve definitely struggled with that A LOT in the past.

The sad truth is…there’s really no “perfect formula” to make a gripping plot.

I’ve never tried to create a new setting for a story that is already well under way. (I almost always create the setting first.)

Technically, if one of Chase’s spines broke off, they could be used as a weapon. It would mean that Chase would probably have a broken finger in his human form, but it wouldn’t mean that he’d be literally missing something. His spines are actually very light weight.
