“Nay-him” is a perfectly valid pronunciation since you’re not using Arabic linguistics. I agree that the y would look bad.

From what I know of how Arabic languages sound, I would think it would be pronounced “Nah-heem” or something like that, rather than “Nay-him.”

There’s a good number of characters that have normal names too: Hugo, Carrie, Kari, etc. Ellis is also a real name, though not common these days.

Sure. Now that I think about it, I can’t think of very many good options for security if we didn’t do it modern day.

Ooh, maybe to make things harder for our characters, we could also use other characters as security guards. Even if we don’t do specific characters, we could use things from our worlds: I could add a security guard that uses one of my magic systems for instance.
