Jane Maree

Hello everyone! I’m taking a midterm for my hardest class tomorrow afternoon and I’m really, really nervous. I’ve been studying for a while now but I’m still terrified I won’t pass…can y’all pray for me? @shannon @dragon-snapper @winter-rose @daeus @kate-flournoy

@amy-l-klob That’s my favorite time period right now, too! I also like any history that has to do with airplanes. I know the “excited puppy” feeling as well. 😀

@xonos-darkgrate I will pray for you! Go show that tricky language who’s boss. 😉
@Shannon Yeaaah… I kind of flunked my test to get my learning permit. I’m going to study some more and take it again.

@ingridrd I like your character’s name. 🙂 Do you have a title for your WIP?

@aratrea XD Perfect.

@the-real-kapeefer Actually, according to your profile picture you don’t even /have/ arms, so no, you don’t have any 2nd Amendment rights here.

@koryn-koch Yeah my siblings are still in it. I won’t judge this year but maybe later…

@shannon Ok, got it

@raevynstar *nods* Totally valid reason. 😉

@Rolena-Hatfield that’s awesome! I like the color scheme. 😀

Welcome, @raevynstar ! I’m Aislinn, and I hail from the Aetherlight (Xonos does too). I usually write fantasy, but I like the Giver too! Do you like dragons? *please say yes, please say yes*

@koryn-koch there are only 10 regions, so if your region did average they would get at least 2 spots in the top 2 in each category, so… ;P
@aratrea Wow, way to pull the curtain away, also why fo you guys have forum guidelines? Are you guys trying to take my first amendment away from me, what’s next, the second 😉

@salome01w4g Yeah I’m joking, I…[Read more]

@raevynstar heyyyyyy! I’m an INFP too. 😀 Welcome to KP; so glad to have you here. I’m a poet (of sorts 😛 ) as well. Why do you like poetry?

This sounds cool! I’m sure you’ll be great at the intrigue and betrayal…. 😉

@raevynstar Welcome to the site! Glad you found us. 🙂 What’s the premise of your current work-in-progress?

@xonos-darkgrate I’m sure it would. It would be cool to give a bad guy a subplot too.

@xonos-darkgrate By sub-plots, I basically mean adding in side characters with their own intertwining stories. I also mean how the main events John Huss experiences affect the many different areas of his life. For instance, you could build a subplot around a book he is writing, or a friendship he has with a small child, or a theological dilemma…[Read more]

Aw, thanks. Guys. Ya’ll make me want to draw more often. 🙂

@xonos-darkgrate That sounds like a great idea. You might want to read the book Trial And Triumph. It’s a novel about John Huss, and I really liked it. I would also highly recommend you read Rora. It’s a real-life story of a Waldensian resistance fighter with added details to bring it to life. It might give you some ideas, especially on how to…[Read more]
