@perfectfifths ooh cool! 😀 Home school is the best, definitely. Those people out there who think we’re weird…well, they’re right. XD We are weird. But we’re a cool sort of weird, and I love it. 😛
@clairec howdy!! *waves* Ho humm. Should I forgive you? *thinks hard* *takes a council for twelve days* Yep okay. You’re forgiven. 😛

Orphan’s Song (Gillian Bronte Adams) is definitely the 1st method too. It’s the protagonist’s journey to discovering her calling/how to use the Gift she has, so everything relates fairly much to that, I think.

@Kina-Lamb HELLO!!! *waves enthusiastically*
My sister @willow-wispowing is a photographer and writer too! (although she isn’t very frequent on the forum) You’ve got some gorgeous shots on your website! *bounces* What sort of camera do you have?
Hand lettering? Ooh I’m soooo jealous. I really wish I could do that but…I simply don’t have the patience. 😛 -
Jane Maree replied to the topic How naming affects characterization in the forum Characters 9 years, 1 month ago
@DelightInLife the method I use when naming characters is often to search up say ‘boys names meaning suchandsuch’ if I want a particular meaning. I sometimes do the ‘unique/rare girl names’ or ‘Irish/Gaelic/Welsh/Spanish/ect. names meaning blah-blah.’ Because then I can find one that fits with my setting.
If it’s medieval fiction, what country is…[Read more] -

I don’t even know if this is cohesive or not, because it’s simply my notes to myself. So yeah, hopefully it’s all okay.
(Quick mention (because I wasn’t on the forum before to put these up) my theme is Freedom.)Positive Character Arc:

Yep, I homeschool!
I went to public school for six weeks of kindergarten before my mum pulled me and my sisters out and started homeschooling us for good. 😛
How about you? -
Jane Maree replied to the topic Discussion for Video Eight: Flat Character Arc in the forum Discussion Questions 9 years, 1 month ago
Mothers yes. My mum is the most super amazing person I know. She’s a true superhero. <3 (although I’m pretty sure her life has had some plenty character arc :P)
Other people I look up to would definitely be my cousin, because she is so passionate about her calling and a really big encouragement to me.

@anyone who’s around I’m going to be plotting my novel for an hour (maybe? I don’t even know) if anyone wanted to join me.

Yes! That’s super cool. I’d like to have something like that but then there’s the whole ‘but now that’s kinda cliche’ problem…

@Emma-Flournoy eep that’s cool. I’ve been play flute for about four years (Maybe? I don’t actually remember now XD). But technically I learn the very basics of piano when I was about six, but I never really got into it until recently and I’ve been teaching myself.

Actually I haven’t written a proper ‘robot’ yet but I’m hoping to soon! I’ve got several scenes sketched out that I think will be pretty fun to write.

Ah yep yep. AMEB exams would do it.
Yes! Often (like in Divergent, for example) it looks like Utopia until you find one little hole or look from a slightly different angle and it really isn’t. I just like the idea of setting it in the future and thinking about fun tech stuff to include. -

@Daeus and according to my sister I have to go now (because we’re scripture teaching at a school today), but I got 546 words on outlining so that’s great! Thank you! 🙂
