@aislinn-mollisong
Wow… that is a hard life. 😛 One of my characters used to be like that… no wait, there still are some.(Of course! Once I edit those, but I’ll probably want people who’ve already read the first book. @dekreel You too)

@valtmy I find reading description simply tedious, and I know this reflects in my own writing. I definitely know what you mean!! (Visual mediums just spoil us, don’t they?)
Often rough drafts for me look a lot like lines of dialogue and action beats, and then later I have to go in and add the setting’s details. But it’s really helped me to remind…[Read more] -

@ariella-newheart Ooooh! 8-3 Does he come out just in time to help someone? Like if they were going through hard times?
Are there any roleplays you’d recommend that I read? I have read AMH and a little bit of the Nikko adventures. And a few posts of Origins

@ariella-newheart I’m working on the KPA. At an interesting part……
I have a question about The Aetherlight: Is the Scarlet Man still roaming about in Aethasia, or is He somewhere else? The reason I’m asking is because of Xonos’ apparent encounter with the Scarlet Man in AMH…
I really hope I can join soon…

@gh24682468999Â Make sense! It is kind of tricky. I like haikus because they’re fun and fairly easy to compose.
Ummm… Sometimes I might glance through Snapper’s LOKD, but otherwise I just go by what I know, and what other Kapeefers tell me about themselves. It’s pretty easy X)
Have you ever heard of the ship Logos Hope?

@everyone “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Cor 10:13)
This verse came to mind as I was reading through everyone’s posts. I’m thankful @dekreel…[Read more] -

God doesn’t make mistakes.
So true. It’s easy to take for granted how we’re all masterpieces. Thank you for the reminder!
As I was reading your reply, I started praying “Thy will be done.” I shouldn’t expect myself to be something. Who says God will make everything “r…[Read more]

I just want to echo what everyone els has said and tell you you aren’t alone.
Even before I joined kp I’ve compared myself (a lot) to people who I perceive to be better then me. Writing is no exception. I compare myself to my older sister who is the [Read more] -

@valtmy The opening grabs my attention. I felt a good sense of the characters until you introduce Lu Mo and Pan Kun. Then it became harder to remember everyone’s names. I think giving Lu Mo a distinct characteristic that the reader can latch onto would help that. You did this well with Muchen, I thought. I got a visual of him almost immediately.…[Read more]

@dekreel Please don’t feel guilty for having different goals for your writing than other people. It’s fine to write just for fun or as a hobby. Writing with the ambition to be published one day doesn’t make someone’s writing more important than someone who feels the way you do. And God calls everyone to use their time in varying ways, and gives us…[Read more]
