@waterlily I’m writing cheese and crackers and eating my western…
…I mean the other way around. 😀 Though that might actually be interesting.
Have you ever pushed someone off a cliff? I’m about to try it for the first time.

@waterlily Hi there! Welcome back. Haha, I just got a snack too. What are you eating?
And of course, what are you writing?

@jane-maree *laughs* Oh, I didn’t think of that, but you’re so right! 😀
@jenwriter17 Something that I realized I should be thankful for is the fact that we don’t have the “King’s ring=irreversable law” rules anymore. Those seem to be very inconvenient, and we see the same problems in the book of Daniel. It’s nice that Esther and Mordecai fo…[Read more]

I’m still here! Does anyone want to join me? Or am I “all alone wif my foughts?” *doubles over in laughter at a reference that no one but me understands* 😀

Bobert’s bored and wants people to talk to, so take pity on him, please!

@mnvalentine Don’t worry. You’re safe. I like squirrels as long as they don’t eat the birdseed. But I still can’t disbelief real things. Only imaginary creatures. 🙂
@dekreel Upon a reread I suddenly realized that you let me do the Spock-eyebrow!! I actually did teach myself to raise one eyebrow by careful training and practice about five…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper Okay, goodbye! Do come back later and challenge me to a write-off. You’ll be sure to win, but I need the work. 😀

@rochellaine Haha! It’s so confusing. 😛
Yeaaasssss. Cliffhangers!!! ULTIMATE POWER! 😛
And I’m going to sign out now. I went through a half-a-book’s worth of comments, and now I need a break. Binge-editing. 😛 Good luck!
And I might be back later today to write; we’ll see. 😛

@dragon-snapper Yup, they live in the future. It must be weird for @seekjustice to post a message and then realize I read it the day before she posted it! 😀 Time travel!
Oh, do you like cliffs? They’re very convenient dropping off points. 😮

@rochellaine Yay! cliffs!!!
Ooh, is it morning in Australia. They live in the future.

@dragon-snapper Oh, what an unfeeling character! 🙂 😀
*whoop* I think I’ve almost gotten past the bridge part and to the excitement! I do believe one of my characters is about to fall off a cliff.
@seekjustice Good morning Australia! Have you got that idea figured out for me today? (Don’t worry too much about it, though, since I’m working on…[Read more]

@rochellaine XD Plot holes. They’re everywhere. One is of a friend who’s completely nonchalant that his friend is probably dead. 😐 Oops.
“What do you mean he doesn’t care?”
“He doesn’t.”
“What? That’s ridiculous!” *looks it up* “Wow. He doesn’t care at all. That’s… awful.” -
Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #14 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 3 months ago
@dragon-snapper Ack! Sometimes it’s like a knife they’re sticking into you:
“What do you mean, I wasn’t consistent?!”
“Well, in the last scene they drove here in a car, and now they’re walking back home.”
“Are you serious?” *runs to look it up* “Aaaah! How could I have done that?”(Fortunately, that one was a pretty easy fix, as all I had to…[Read more]

@rochellaine Well, even with planning, the scenes can be a bit disorganized sometimes. Especially when I miscalculate how long the chapter’s going to be, and then my chapters have this random sequence to them. And that’s where editing comes in.
Lol. I am not one of those people. My brother used to be fast on it, then he got a smartphone. I…[Read more]

Rochellaine replied to the topic PRAYER REQUESTS #2 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 3 months ago
@ethryndal Thank you! Yes, it’s basically all about timing now. We want the kids to be able to come home as soon as possible, but have to finish all the extra paperwork first. 🙁
It’s so amazing to know all these prayers are with us!

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #14 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 3 months ago
@dragon-snapper Well, of course I get ideas and plan in my head for my books, but I’ve never really written more than a paragraph-long synopsis of my plans before starting to write. And plans often change during the process of writing.
It worked really well for my kids series, but I think my time travel novel could have used a little more…[Read more]

@rochellaine Exactly! It’s so annoying. *headdesk*
Woah. You’ve never planned. I applaud your panster-isms. 😛 I also want to try that again someday. But every time I do, the book fails… so. I don’t know. XD
Fun fact: Snapper doesn’t have a phone. 😛 The one I do have is a little retro flip-phone which takes five minutes to type out a small…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper And even though it’s really boring to write, you can’t let the readers know you’re bored! 😀
I’ve preferred typing to handwriting for a long time, but I also never have planned out or outlined any of my works before, and am just deciding that I need to do at least a little bit of that to make my western turn out well. So while I…[Read more]

@rochellaine Oh goodness, I relate to those bridge sections. It’s basically that way whenever I start a novel too. The first ten chapters are killer. XD I can’t stand those types of scenes.
Wow! Law school! That’s so cool! 😀 Lol Typing fast does feel awesome. 😛
I prefer typing it on the computer. I started writing my first novel from a…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper When I get to a place in my writing where I’m on the roll and can write several pages in a row I write very fast, but when I get to a “bridge” place in between interesting sections I sometimes will pout and leave the work entirely alone for a really long time. Which practice is not at all conducive to completion of my stories!
