@seekjustice I have decided.
I am coming to Australia, not to visit you, but to escape the winter and enjoy the summer.
@catwing has it easy. She lives down south. 😛

(Tuning in to take advantage of the offer. But with one question: Does the offer hold even for someone who has frozen fingers, and can’t type at normal speed?) 😛

@seekjustice @valtmy Whoops, I forgot. Yup, it’s Quillon. But even so, I still prefer Kendall. He and Rain just seem to go together.
@alia I have a comment from you on the doc, so I guess you must have read it, but here it is to refresh your memory:
(Edited because I accidentally posted the link to Jonas’s story instead of this on…[Read more]

I thought Rain liked Quillon, not Justice.
There is a lot of glamourisation and focus on rich people in Korean media because of chaebol families that control a lot of big businesses in the country so their dramas really reflect that. 😛

@alia Oh, and yes. Anastasia was absolutely amazing! 😀

@alia But remember, I wrote a fanfic about Kendall having a lock of Rain’s hair. 😉 You read that, right?
I’m decidedly ignoring the fact that Rain is supposed to be in love with Justice in draft two, and am still imagining that she likes Kendall @seekjustice 😛

What a Korean drama plot. 😛
If they wanted to focus on rich people, they can make it a R&J about the heir and heiress of two powerful business/political families and milk the situation for all sorts of drama.
Yes, I like that one.
Bye!

I’ve got to go now for a bit. I may be back later. Bye for now!

@valtmy 😛 Don’t worry. I don’t know much about East Asian history and culture. 😉 So I doubt I’d be doing much over analyzing.
Modern ballet is weird. 😛
I love Tchaikovsky, but my favorite of his pieces is actually the 1812 overture. Do you like that one?

I don’t usually watch ballet. I did once in London but it was a modern, experimental dance piece that dealt with very strange and uncomfortable subject matter…
But I am a fan of Tchaikovsky though so I like listening to that kind of ballet music. 😛

I would be interested to know what kind of star-crossed lovers story your futuristic society will come up with. The society does not seem to really be the sort to glamourise emotion or romance so I am really curious.
I am very nervous at the thought of you over analysing my story when you read QOD. 😛

@valtmy Hello! Are you interested in ballet?

@seekjustice Because of my tendency to try and find basis and origin for things lately I’ve been wondering if Beauty and the Beast was inspired by Nebuchadnezzar. What do you think? 😉
I’ve been over analyzing this question and came up with a few things.
One, I seem to remember that Jean was the only one who really kept the old books, and…[Read more]

Hi!
Sorry had work to do just now.
From what I know of your story, the society you are writing about is concerned about the ‘future’ right? So they may not be very into things of the past like Romeo and Juliet right? I thought Jean was supposed to be considered odd because of that.

@seekjustice I hated Chessy and Justice in the first book, because he was not a Christian. But that was fixed in the second book – and they had window scenes – so I liked them. 😉
Thanks again for the window scenes. 😛

@seekjustice Well, in the stage play, Odette comes on to dance first, then Anastasia sings while she’s dancing. Next Siegfried comes on, and Dimitri sings his part while he’s dancing. Then the corps de ballet come on and the grandmother sings, and then the magician comes on, and Gleb sings while he’s dancing. So that’s simple. But that got me…[Read more]

I still maintain I’m not great at romances.
You keep saying that, and I keep telling you that there are several couples in your Infinity series that people liked. 😛
- Chessy and Justice (Your sister, Jen, me, possibly others that I don’t recall)
- Sapphire and Quillon (Everyone… 😛 )
- Chessy and Jonas (Everyone)
- Chessy and Z…

@seekjustice I noticed something about Anastasia in the live production that I hadn’t noticed before, which was the symbolism/parallels between Swan Lake and Anastasia’s story, when they go to the ballet. (I was a huge ballet fan as a kid… 😉 ) I think it became one of my favorite parts of the show. Do you know the plot of Swan Lake?
Also, @ali…[Read more]

So you’ll get thrown into the Pit of Shame? 😛
Ooh I hope I’ll be able to do a better job at building romantic tension than that. Granted, I did say that QOD was NOT a romance story but you know what I mean. 😛

As one gets older, the difference between non-believer friends and believer friends gets really apparent and sometimes it is not easy to handle.
You writing about romance? Haha I would like to read that post! 😀 Maybe you can write your own romance parody and give me a run for my money. 😀
Are your old romance plots the sort that…[Read more]
