Yeah. The more I thought about it the more I realized that you were probably right. I’ll still be leaving it in though. If I base it on my parents, they probably wouldn’t actually talk about it at the dinner table and if my mum did ask, Dad would probably say ‘talk to you later’ But I want Anna to be part of the conversation, so that was my way of…[Read more]

This is a poem I wrote in remembrance of the men who fought in World War II. I have had quite a lot of feedback on it, but I’d like to see what you guys all think. Here you go-
Bombs exploded, bullets stung
Orders were to fight then run
For the men who went to war.Little food and dirty water
Life was sometimes just man slaughter
For the men who…[Read more] -

Her hair reminded me a lot of turtle soup. Now it could be because I was eating that soup, that made me think of it, but I really don’t know. I have to say I’ve thought of some weird things in the time that I’ve sat here watching people. The plaza is a great place to just sit and watch. Nobody takes any notice of me. I’m dull and quite. The only…[Read more]

Or even explaining what a video is! 🙂
My youngest sister adores the old Cinderella. I love the new Cinderella movie. (The acted out one.) Have you seen it? If not, you should. It is great. 😛 -

The rain lashed down on my ship. I stood with my paws braced on the deck. Rats scurried around me, fastening things. One of them, the boatswain, slipped on the slippery deck and took a nose dive. He glanced up to find me watching him.
“Capt’n, we need to drop anchor. We are going to die if we continue.”
“Nonsense,” I roared back over the noise of…[Read more] -

An elephant who just loves mice.
That is so cute @rolena-hatfield. Have you seen the movie Dumbo? That has an elephant who likes a mouse called Timothy. Sweet movie.:)
@anna-brie Are you interested in writing to each other? I can get Kelly to send you my email address if you want.

“I would throw up water so that the light of the torch would catch it.” 🙂
Confession: My sister is Kelly Just. She told me that she met you but I hadn’t made the connection.
And I’d heard the answer via my siblings.
Isn’t it a small world??? 😛 @anna-brie -

Fluvial geomorphologist is someone who is devoted to understanding rivers, both in their natural setting as well as how they respond to human-induced changes in a watershed. 😛 😛 😛
How did you know about it @anna-brie? I had to google it to find out. I’d never have thought of it if someone had asked me. 😀 My knowledge is not that great.Oops…[Read more]

@Sarah-h Yeah, Daeus explained it very well there. I like to think about plugins as apps. You can get ‘apps’ for WordPress just like you get apps for a cell phone. The WordPress “apps” make your website do something that it isn’t already programmed for …just like a cell phone app.

Probably. Still, I think it would be nice. 🙂 Maybe just not as a book.

A waterfall that wants to settle down and become a quiet lake.
Love it @hope.
A dragon who needs glasses.
A spy who likes playing with paper clips.
A baby who can speak from the moment he/she is born. (Not my idea. I read a story like that once and it was brilliant)
A world where everything is perfect. *Sigh* That would be nice. - Load More
