Ash: *hangs down from the tree and grins* Hey there. *She’s dressed in 1600’s clothing with a black hood and cape* // Cephas: *perched on the branch and chitters softly*

Oh dear, i didn’t mean to set off a huge thing like this, but it would appear that Shifters are a touchy subject. I like your idea @daeus telling the creation story would be great! Do you think it would work better in the story though? Like one character explaining to another?

Ash: *watches the others from a tree top, shaking her head.* I’m sure we’ll be better off alone, Cephas. *to her pet dragon*

Ash: *ended up on the island after stealing an enchanted book and happening to open it and start reading* *looks around* Great…. Where on earth are we, Cephas? // Cephas: *chitters in confusion*

Ok, my charrie is Ashe, 14yo thief. She’s just-above-normal height and rather thin, with jet-black hair and almost-black eyes. She has a pet fairy dragon named Cephas, who she can speak to. She’s quiet like you would expect a thief to be, but very defensive and can pretend to be a lot of things, but if you can manage to make friends with her,…[Read more]

Thank you for y’all input! @Daeus i was trying to figure out a new name for them and came up with Lupines, but i think i found that was already taken. Also, my Were’s don’t have what they call “Moon sickness” which in the story is the result of a were turning evil and thus losing control of their wolf/cat abilities. They refuse to take human life…[Read more]

@Sarah Hoven, my were’s are in the story granted their powers by God in order to fight demons and other evils that manage to invade the real world.

Ok, I am already sympathizing with dearest Walter! I have a soft spot for hurting heroes or villains for that matter.

Ok, I did the Elf thing. I wore my costume in the grocery store. Here’s my results,
Adults: They /very/ /very/ rarely pay at attention to costumes. I got two double takes in 2 hours. /two/. and it was crowded.
Children: They either gawk in awe or look confused. Often the parents lead them away as they stare.
So that the result of the Elf thing! xP

Hmmm. yeah! @hope ! She’s the oldest of 6 i think… but she was the only child for a while (before her adoptive dad got married and she became a big sister suddenlyxP) and her main quirk is she’s very possessive of her daddy, a bit immature and she loves to climb and stuffxP
@Ivy in this story, the MCs’ family is mostly adopted. They only have…[Read more]
