@Hope I don’t know about Bible Verses, but one I really like is:
Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. ~ Benjamin Franklin
I also really like this one:
A professional writer is an amateur who didn’t quit. ~ Richard Bach

It is fascinating @Hope, I’ll give it that. 😉 One favorite quote (can’t remember who said it) is
‘There’s nothing difficult about writing. You just sit down at a typewriter and bleed.’
As far as I’m concerned, that’s pretty accurate. 😛
*wracks brains for other awesome quotes lurking just beyond reach* I know they’re there somewhere… I’ll…[Read more]

I was writing a story this morning and I got called for lunch so I hurriedly finished my sentence and I wrote this:
Since King Octavius is no longer ruler, the city is left with no ruler.
I couldn’t believe that I wrote that. I am definitely going back to fix that up. 🙂
@overcomer I’m not sure. Try calling @hope. She works with dragons a lot.

Thank you everyone, it’s nice to have a couple of virtual shoulders to cry on.
@Daeus I might look into it. Maybe I’ll just ask for it for my birthday.
@kate-flournoy *hands tissue* there there. I can totally understand how you would be really paranoid for the rest of the day, t kinda makes your heart stop just thinking about it. I’d probably…[Read more]

@Hope it can work in whatever you want it to. So what if it’s usually considered scifi? Challenge perceptions! Force people to think outside the box! Conquer the world! *shakes fist over head, glowers out over whoever is listening*

Awesome topic @Hope. My all time favorite writing scripture is Ecclesiastes 12:11:
The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.
It reminds me not only of the power we wield (and have a responsibility to wield responsibly) but also of Who gave us that power, and ultimately…[Read more]

@Hope YES! I finished Dreamlander this afternoon, and I cried a ton, but I liked it very much. The ending!!! As with all books, there were some things I didn’t like about it…but yes. It’s good. 😉

I’m finishing up for now, @hope . 🙂
I developed my cast of characters a bit, and found some useful stuff. Preparing to write a novel (as it turns out) is actually pretty fun, even for a disorganized person like me, so I can’t wait to get back to it … maybe sometime tonight.
It was fun writing with you too, @rolena-hatfield. I’m glad you…[Read more]

@christi-eaton Good! Hope you like it. But how could you know a book was good or bad till you finished it? Some are really good after the boring first half. 🙂
Thank you @hope. 😉 Well, my favorite genre is fantasy. What else. Favorite books within that genre— TLotR, of course; and The Hobbit. I like Narnia, though I’m not crazy over it. Come…[Read more]
