@jess welcome to Kingdom Pen the bestistes…Oh @hope beat me to it. *boohoo*
*ahem* KP is a great place for us writes. I have loved every moment that I’ve been on it. It was like what Reagan said once, “when you’re a writer that sets you apart, and being a Christian sets you apart even more” *It was something along those lines* 🙂I have never…[Read more]

My passengers are very curious…
I have been writing for three years, but have only just started to develop style and any sort of skill in the past year. My favorite genre is medieval fiction and/or fantasy (hints the dragon), and just fiction in general. My favorite authors are Tolkien, John Flanagan, C.S. Lewis and whole bunch of random others.…[Read more] -

@hope Not sure if this will work for your prophecy, but this is what sounded good to me.
Ancient sign, bitter fate
Scar and oath and quest
Name revealed by righteous power
Shall poison’s power wrestAncient weapon, bitter foe
Shield and spear and doom
Legend shattered, triumph claimed
A sign will show the tombAncient battle, bitter bane,
Night…[Read more] -

@jadamae Yes, that’s the book. It’s it terrible. A combination of happy and sad and every other feeling in between. I have just read it and I could NOT stop crying. *For anyone who hasn’t read it, you should.*
And @hope, it might sound familiar because it happened in Indiana; you’re from there aren’t you? The crash took place on the 26th of April,…[Read more] -

I thought we could start a topic where we just talk about books. I’m sure that there are lots of awesome books in the world that I haven’t read. Maybe even heard of.
So you can use this topic however you want. You might suggest a book, or ask people if they have ever read a certain book. And you can talk about it and discuss good points, sad…[Read more] -

@Daeus every thought is a categorical statement? Whew… lucky you. 😛 For my part, though my brain is more or less categorized (think computer browser with a million tabs open in a billion windows), I jump so rapidly from category to category it’s really difficult to keep a steady thread of thought sometimes. I digest information more…[Read more]

ooh, I want to hear what you all have to say about this.
@hope For my part, I never think nothing. I’ve tried, I can assure you. I do have moments of blurred thinking though. It’s not easy to describe exactly, but I guess you could call it a sort of dull, wandering, fragmented thinking. That’s not super common though.
As for compartmentalized…[Read more]

@Daeus wait a second… the Earl? *glances at you sideways through narrowed, suspicious eyes* Ummm… last I checked, the Earl was dead.
I should have known better. The instant you didn’t show me his body, I should have known he wasn’t really gone.
Thanks for the spoiler. 😛 😉
Great point about Luigi Vampa. He’s an excellent ‘grey’ character.…[Read more] -

@hope I got it, I’ve just got to finish another book first before I get to it. I’ll let you know if I cry over it.

@Hope won’t tell you this guys, but it’s really good. I officially recommend it. Yeah, I may be a little biased because she’s my friend, but bias doesn’t make people cry, and I cried over this book.
So there. -

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while and now I’m finally getting around to it.
I have an observation to share with you guys; something I learned along the way somewhere that I thought was pretty neat and pretty helpful at the same time. For those of you on here who don’t know, I’m absolutely nuts about themes and messages in…[Read more] -

@daeus Sorry, I haven’t been paying attention! Vacation really threw off my schedule, and I just finished another college course… But I agree with all your and @hope‘s points, and I would say that the expectations idea goes for all books, and movies too. When I start a new Shakespeare, I expect something completely different than what I would…[Read more]
