@all y’all OBJECTION!! @daeus @hope @corissa-maiden-of-praise
Just a thought… don’t you think it would be a little insulting to those in California if we did make a t-shirt with warnings like that? *smeagol voice* that doesn’t make us a light, now does it precious? -

@Daeus not only ice-cream, but cookies too?! YOU ARE AMAZING!!! 😀 Although now we may need a warning about this thread causing virtual diabetes.
@hope A T-shirt would be perfect! Who runs the swag around here? 😉
@jess YES. The whole dream like a movie thing. I once had a very complicated dream that I was simply a bystander in that was very…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper cuz I can too. *wiggles eyebrows* Fun, isn’t it?
Between INFP and INTJ? Ooh boy… simplified? *wails* @HOPE! HELP ME!!! Okay, okay… *decides to dump a bunch of type-summary on you rather than try and be simplified about an actual explanation* INTJs are: architects, masterminds, imaginative strategists, and the most…[Read more]

Wow guys, what a discussion going on here. 😀 I shall add my two cent’s worth in a moment, but first, there is a very important matter I must attend to. *pushes spectacles severely up bridge of nose*
@Dragon-Snapper. Can you or can you not breathe like Gollum does.Now that that’s out of the way… have any of you guys noticed that we’re all…[Read more]

@hope I think I’m going to go now. I edited through a chapter, which went pretty well. Good luck with your writing!

@hope You scary. (but I suppose I can be scary at times too. I have a very good Gollum/Sméagol imitation.) 🙂 I talk to myself to, but only absentmindedly, and afterward I can’t remember any conversations I had with myself. So weird.

Jess replied to the topic The Mind of a Writer in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
@hope Yes, oh yes, to everything you said! There was a time when my parents called me Gollum because I would talk to myself so much. (I still do, but mostly keep it in my head now 😛 )

@winter-rose Clearplay sounds good. Even though you’re in the minority (everybody else is like: Vidangel!), Clearplay sounds like a great option.
@emma-flournoy Well, my definition of feminism is like strictly making sure that women have in general equal rights with men. Once people talk about referring to Captainesses because the term Captain…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper Believe me, you’re not the only one who’s figured it out. *cue evil laugh* I really think some of us writers would be very dangerous if we turned our minds to evil. Especially the ENTJs and INTJs, which I think make up quite a bit of the “population” on here… they can be pretty heartless. (right, @hope? 😉 )
You know, people are…[Read more]

@hope awesomesauce! Cutting down is always the hardest part for me…
@winter-rose yay! Great job!!This afternoon I went over yesterday’s writing and added about 1,300+ words to my first chapter today (right in the middle because I completely skipped a planned section yesterday, whoops.) but I’ll be writing more later.

Hey guys. I know I’ve asked this before, but I can’t remember so I thought I’d ask it again. 🙂 I need a name for a mermaid or merman that goes with Mango and Claudia. Any suggestions?

Oceanus. Octavia. Marcellus. Cassius. Portia. Aquarius. Aquaria. Antonia. Luccellus. Lucia. Lucius.
Anything there?
@Bluejay
I like Cassius @kate-flournoy Cause I can nickname it to Cass which is good. I like nicknames. 🙂
A kid??!! Awww… 😉
Or not?
Hmmm…um…um…this isn’t working.
Err…Claudo? Mangia? JUST KIDDING.
Ketto. OK, that has no logical background WHATSOEVER. It just popped into my head. And I know, it doesn’t sound Latin at all. 🙁
Yes, a kid. Ahhh… 😉
Haha. I love the fact that you were trying to take it off the parents.
Ketto is a cute name and I think I know who I could use it for.
@emma-flournoy
😀 😀
@emma-flournoy Having read the book yourself, how would you say Mum and Dad? Mother, Father? Papa, Mama? Pa, Ma?
I think just Mum and Dad will be good. Maybe Mother and Father next; but no Pa or Ma for sure. That doesn’t sound sea-ish at all. The others don’t sound sea-ish, either ( 😛 ), but for the type of story…
