@northerner Thanks 🙂
@his-instrument Are you talking about The Prince of the Barbarians?
@lifeofkatie Sure, well, it’s all up to you. At the moment, I don’t feel any particular need for another beta-reader, but if it’s something you’d want to do, I’d be more than glad to get your feedback. Each new perspective notices something nobody else did.…[Read more] -

Greetings KeePers,
For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been working on a time-travel novel over the past few months. I wrote it, edited it, got some feedback, and then edited it again.
So this baby’s out of his diapers and ready to walk around. What I’d appreciate is some helping hands to mature this story into something great (aka beat…[Read more]

Ahh… I recognize this theme! Played with it a fair bit myself before switching to a different theme for my website.
I’ll second everyone saying that the heading letters are difficult to read. At the very least, I would make them larger. I’m not sure any color would show up well, against that background, so you may want to…[Read more]

Yes.
Fellow Kapeefers…
The time has come.
The time has come for me to ask you for help.
But not in a melancholy sense.
This is good news.
I’m getting published.
Mmmhhmm.
My very boring sentences are my way of trying to contain myself.
Anyways….I am self-publishing a book of poetry on Amazon, and I need you all to help me! I need…[Read more] -

@his-instrument What Daeus said. You’ll only ever have one blog page (though you can change which page your blog posts go it, be it blog or writing or something else). But each post you can add to one or more categories and then you can link categories in your menu so when you click on writing, all the blog posts that are categorized under writing…[Read more]

@his-instrument, @dragon-snapper *springs to attention* Did someone call? Beta reading and email exchanges, is it? I think you’ve already emailed Kingdom Pen with your email, @dragon-snapper. You can do the same thing, @his-instrument. Just email Kingdompenmag@gmail.com and give me your real name and forum name so I know who you are, then I can…[Read more]

@his-instrument I like it too. I would say the sidebar seems rather large though. Not sure if you can change that without changing the theme. One thought is that the text in the middle of the picture on the homepage is hard to see. Making it bigger would help.
Btw, wordpress.org has a forum you can go to for any WordPress issues you’re facing.…[Read more]

@his-instrument Well, if you have Scripture Typer, then the verses will become un-current so that you have to review them again, which helps you store then in long-term memory.
If you don’t want to use Scripture Typer, then you can set a schedule for yourself. Like, this day of the week I’m going to review this book, and this day, I’ll do that…[Read more] -

@His-Instrument I like it! The first page looks very nice and professional. However, I was wondering about the solid green background headers for the other pages. For one thing the green is a little glaring, and two it’s not that engaging just to have a blank sheet of color. Could you put pictures there?

Hey KeePers!
You should have gotten an email about this last night, but I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of our fourth panel discussion that’s happening this upcoming Monday on self-publishing and writing.
In short, we have three self-published authors (Kim Vandel, Rachel Rittenhouse, and Jeannette DiLouie) who are going to be on…[Read more]

Hey people. *tips hat grinningly*
There’s this book I just read called Eats, Shoots and Leaves, by Lynn Truss. It’s non-fiction—about punctuation. But it’s not a long or dull read at all, and is funny and very informative/helpful. Especially for people like writers who’d use punctuation more than usual. 😉
The only objection would be: it has a…[Read more] -
