Rory
The military bearing slipped away again and he wrapped his arms around himself, tucking his chin down in the collar of his jacket. He didn’t know what he wanted anymore, and he certainly didn’t know what to do.

Oh my word! I love it!! And keep that hair style. It really goes with what we were talking about. Elves having long hair as a distinction and all. Somehow it still gives that feel, even though it’s short. I really like it and if you change it I shall be mad. lol
Oh nice!! Watercolor pencils? Are you going…[Read more]

Hey! Glad you’re back. I’ll see if I have time to help with this. My life is crazy right now.
I’m not doing a lot of posting books on KP anymore, but beta readers are always welcome.
I’m always ready to be tagged for illustrations, and like I said, I’ll do my best to keep up with this.

He dropped the pencil and sat down, looking rather lost and confused. He had hardly ever made a real decision on his own. “I don’t know,” he said finally. “You tell me what to do.”

I have several ducks with them. Not so many humans for some reason, probably because the ducks just came through a couple major wars.
I have a duck named Emerald Evergreen with a peg leg. It’s not really a plot point, just part of his character. He had it made extra heavy so he can dive bomb people and knock them out with it. XD…[Read more]

The Ducktator replied to the topic Have you ever written self inserts? in the forum Topic of the Week 3 months, 1 week ago
I’ve never intentionally written a self insert. Several of my characters began as someone I pretended to be in games with my siblings, but they were always someone else and had different personalities. Queen Natalie Mallard is excitable, energetic, hotheaded, and impulsive, whereas Amethyst Evenstar is more reserved, sensible and adaptable, as…[Read more]

Lucy
“Oh, I’m… peachy.” Lucy finally rolled onto her back and coughed, staring up at the person above her.
Her vision stopped spinning and she found that the girl was a young, probably younger than Lucy. The girl had long brown hair and a button nose, not to mention an expression between disgust and curiosity.
Lucy blinked. For a…[Read more]

No…no! No! If I had just reached her…if I had just stayed with her…it’s my fault…
Bro it was not your fault. She was right behind you and you were doing your best.

Lucy
“Mhnn… no, you can’t find me yet. Not ready…” Someone mumbled nearby.
Lucy threw up on the grass. She was too dizzy to open her eyes, so she turned over to face the voice and curled into a tight fetal position. She buried her face into her rumpled trousers. “Uugghh… Shhh-Shut up…”

Oh wow, that was a big crash out. I’m sorry, Gabriel. I’ve really been making life hard for you. But also it’s very cool that you managed to break through the wall.
