We did have 8 goats (two baby bucks were sold this morning)… so now it’s only 6. And I think we have 7 chickens. Sheep, huh? They sound fun! 🙂 And don’t worry.. ha-ha. (when we started with our goats we didn’t know what we were doing either 😉 ) So, how many sheep do you have then?

Soggy pancakes.
I think… I just lost my appetite.
And indeed, @Daeus, that is the logical progression of the argument I’m making— with him, (you and I apparently both know who him is 😉 😛 ) because I couldn’t see him as anything other than noble, I couldn’t sense him feeling anything other than noble. I mean, it was there a little bit, but…[Read more]

Really? That’s neat. I guess there’s a lot of “farm folk” on here, huh? 😉
@sarah-h
Well, I’ve written quite a few different things…but I think fantasy/fiction novels are the most fun for me to write (although, definitely NOT the easiest…and I’ve never finished one 🙁 Sadly, I’ve picked up the bad habit of writing tons of book…[Read more] -

Well, I guess we have the farm girl part in common at least 😉 Haha.

I’ve only been playing since October, so I’m still an early beginner 😛 I really love it though. I mean, it’s hard, but about anything is when you’re still learning…That’s cool though, that this is your third year! Good job 😉 🙂

@jadamae No, unfortunately I’m not a princess. I think she based on my feelings but really she’s not very much like me.
@writefury. Thank you. Yes, it was a KP critique awhile ago.
And thank you to @kate-flournoy and @gretald for your encouragement. 😀 -

Do you have Pinterest @gretald? When planning characters, it helps me to find pictures of them. I can’t always do this, but most of the time I can find one. And, strange as it may sound, the picture (as well as the name) quite often helps me in developing the character…it suggests all sorts of possibilities about if the character is serious,…[Read more]

@gretald Glad to be of help. 😛 I’d take into consideration one of @kate-flournoy‘s points as well when your starting out. The bit about contradictions is definitely something to work with. Usually having a fish-out-of-water concept to work with starts off the inspiration quite a bit.

Excellent thoughts, @Daeus! And yes @gretald, what you said was completely true. @Daeus covered that a little in his reply— Christianity, and Christian themes and messages, shouldn’t just be slipped or fitted in and hoped to be gotten away with. You shouldn’t say ‘Oh boy I have this really cool story! Oh… yeah, I’d better put some element of…[Read more]

We have some similar names as well @gretald! I have a Princess Miret and her father’s name is Miris. I love the Invisible Ones. Sounds so mysterious. I think I would like to meet this Madam Munch. She sounds like quite the character. 😉

Love the villain’s name, @gretald— simple, yet the name itself has character. 😀
I had to smile too when I saw the name for your MC, ’cause I have an MC right now whose name is very similar. Arianwen. 🙂
