@graciegirl Haha, I think it’s one of those things where you either love it or hate it (not that I’ve done a survey or anything…) 😀 😉

Heh, well I’ve only dabbled so far and they’re not very good, but I’ll look through them and see if there’s any that I won’t cringe too much for others to see. =P Maybe I’ll make an art topic if there’s a place for that on this forum…@kate-flournoy

Ahem, yes. Him, minus the highwayman part. 😉

@GracieGirl YESSS wasn’t it amazing? It made me cry, and I hardly ever cry at books anymore. Edwin was my favorite but Rameaux is close second. Then Drake. Then Blackhood. (No spoilers people. Let’s be nice to those on here who haven’t read it). And… yes. I loved it.

@graciegirl Whew! Get some sleep tomorrow. Lol, I want to be like Rameaux when I grow up 😉 😛

@GracieGirl aha. That explains why I didn’t know that; I don’t know a thing about phones. I’m a bit of a technological dinosaur. 😉
@R-J-Wordsmith no idea what Wyvern is either but that’s a lovely prompt and I can definitely use it. Thanks. 🙂 -

@graciegirl I’ve finished my poem, and the editing of it, so I’m going to stop now. How’d you do?

@graciegirl I full heartedly agree. 😀

@graciegirl Great!I forgot to mention, that whenever we leave, we post the progress we made and say our farewells (if you want to 😛 ). That way no one keeps writing for a million years waiting on the next Tolkien for a progress report. 😛

Snapper replied to the topic Writer's Corner #4 in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 2 months ago
@graciegirl Basically, the Writers’ Corner is a thread where someone posts when they are writing something (anything) and someone else can see that and write at the same time. Daeus and I are writing at the same time, and it gives us an accountability factor. Protection against dilly-dallying on the internets and stuff like that.

Okay guys, let’s try something different here. We’ll pick a topic/category and each of us will try to think of something different for that one category, and when we’re out of ideas someone can suggest a new category/topic.
First topic— trains.
My contribution to the topic: The Train from Nowhere was late for the second time in a…[Read more] -

@graciegirl Awesome. I should just note that if your siblings are very young, this might not be the best book for them. If you have any doubts about that, you can just read the first chapter, and if you think that’s fine, then the rest of the book should be too.
If you can just contact me through the link I have on the third post in this thread…[Read more]

I really like David Nevue’s music! His “Overcome” has always been my favorite. It’s the only piano piece I’ve been able to retain in my memory long term 🙂 Do you play his pieces or just listen? - Load More
