@Daeus Meh. Though with that ton of downloads at least you know people are interested. Slightly at least. *snort* Good luck with thy promotion.

Wow… um… wow.
Okay that was basically my existence in a nutshell… I think I’m going to be floored and absolutely useless for the rest of the day. 😛
Thank you so much for sharing, @Christi-Eaton. That was beyond encouraging. -

@Christi-Eaton So you’re moving into college today? Wowy. I bet that crept up on you. I’m praying. <3
Been kinda busy but I'm hoping to get your letter off in the next few days. 😀 -

@Emerald-Flyer Fantasy is great (depending XD), and not everyone needs to write short stories too. Focus on the novels if that’s what you’re good at. 😀

Hello @Emerald-Flyer! You’re a dragon then? We have a few of those. *wiggles eyebrows*
Indeed, welcome to the bestistest place on the Internet. 😀 What kinda stuff do you like to write? -
Emma Flournoy replied to the topic A New Synopsis For Edwin Brook in the forum Publishing & Platform 9 years ago
@Daeus Mostly what they said. Including the part about the emotional hook.
Also, about ‘written in a classical style’—not saying you should not say it’s classical style, but just the way it’s worded, that particular way, sounds too stiff or something. Too…normal, or something similar which I can’t think of the word for. 😛 Maybe it should be…[Read more] -

@graciegirl Thanks for sharing! I’m glad this thread has encouraged you. 😀 😀 I love those verses! In Bible Bee this summer Hebrews 3 and 4 were some of the chapters/passages we studied (btw I qualified!!!) and so I recognized some of them. 😀

Hello and thank you, @jess! 😀 That’s funny, I also thought I was being original when I started calling myself Jessi. In fact, I thought I made it up! Then I saw someone else with that name… I guess great minds think alike, right? 😉 XD

@Daeus I actually really, really, really prefer the first synopsis… *rueful smile*
When you say ‘make it clearer who it’s for’ are you talking about the target audience? If that’s the case, a more explicit (but still subtle) ‘mission statement’ might be all that’s required. Not knowing precisely what the underlying issue is, I would say is it…[Read more] -

Hi @aislinn-mollisong! Welcome to KP! I’m new to the site as a member, but have been stalking – I mean, following – it for a while now (maybe several months up to a year?). I’ve found pretty much all the articles quite helpful one way or another, and I’m sure the things on here will help you too. Good luck on your fantasy trilogy! 😀
