@catwing *heart swells in delight* Zita the Spacegirl!!!!!!! I love those books! BTW his name is “Hatke” :-3
I follow the comics online – we don’t have newspaper either. 😉
What’s Mighty Jack about? I didn’t know he wrote anything else other than Zita. -

@christi-eaton Howl’s Moving Castle is a book?! Who wrote it? 😀

@cloudy, Apologies for being a little late… Those are all awesome!
@christi-eaton you said they are “ink pictures.” Do they have to be drawn completely in ink, or could I like outline it in pencil, cause I like doing that. Or do you not know that? I like drawing too, so I wanna check this out…

@cat-wing *runs to check work* *screams in despair* *runs back over to you* *gasps for breath* Yes I did that on purpose….
No I didn’t it was like, 1 in the morning and I was just trying to catch up before stuff could get in the way and I didn’t like the fingers so I’m like: How will the next one turn out? *facepalm* -

@Dekreel I don’t really have problems in this quarter because I’m very good at just ignoring all my horrible mistakes in a first draft. And I also enjoy rewriting the full novel because it’s fun seeing the massive improvement in it. xD But still, I have friends who struggle with this. Three things you can try:
1: (as Kate said) write in…[Read more]

@Kballen so exciting that you’re doing NaNo!! (I am too.) Like the others have said, having an outline is very helpful, and so is having a group of encouraging buddies who can spur you on in writing. That was one of the things that helped me most. 🙂
K.M. Weiland has a bunch of great advice on NaNo (here’s a link if you want to check it out). -

@Dekreel honestly and unfortunately, no. You could outline your novel from the beginning (before you ever write anything) but that still won’t ensure that your story idea won’t change as you were writing it. In fact, it probably will, and that’s a good thing because it means your story is alive.
I’m a perfectionist too. I think I would have been…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy, @dragon-snapper, @daughteroftheking, @jane-maree, @that_writer_girl_99,
@any other eloquent advisers? As some of you probably know, I have been working on a novella, but I have a problem. When I write, everything has to be perfect, so I constantly go back and revise the stuff I’d already written in the novella; I’m not moving…[Read more]

@ingridrd Ow… Well thanks for officially breaking my heart. There should be some sort of warning at the beginning about the strong and sometimes fatal emotions this story will produce.
I love the tone. As I think someone already said, it’s very wistful and nostalgic—quite lovely. Quite sad. Beautifully done, mellon nin.

@DAEUS WHY DIDN’T YOU TAG ME FOR THIS. I MISSED IT. *horrified sobbing that trails off into pathetic wails*
We is upset. *scowls* Don’t do it again.
*coughs* Yes. Anyway. After all that drama, I have nothing to say after all, because I love it. And you should definitely write it, because I want to read it.
So write it. -

@catwing Thank you for the feathers! I shall treasure them in my heart forever knowing that they came from a great friend!
I also like comics! What kind of comics do you like. I like daily “newspaper” comics. My favorites are Foxtrot, Zits and Kevin & Kell…
Ohhh, did you mean the comics from Ted Dekkar?? Pbth, typical me – reading things…[Read more] -
