@Skredder First off, hi! I don’t think we’ve met.
And second, YES, the Persian technique is really cool. I actually forgot about that. (Though I do disagree about only being able to hold a drawn bow for eight seconds. I know a girl who shoots with a standard recurve, and she says she’s able to hold it fully drawn for at least a minute.)

@Graciegirl Well of COURSE we all missed you. You did come up with our favorite expression, after all. 😉
And YES to everything you said about The Last Jedi. The Praetorian Guards (yep, that’s what they’re called) and the Force Connection thing… Those two moments were my favorites as well. So much interesting development with Kylo, oh my…[Read more]

@dragon-Snapper WOOT!!! That’s fantastic! *rains glitter from the ceiling**random chair falls**phones get dumped by the bucket-load* Good grief, three books already? Sheesh, kid, you’re making the rest of us look bad. (Namely, me… 😀 )

@That_writer_girl_99 Ah. Ah ha ha. Hmm. Keep in mind that while I do own a long-sword, a short-sword, and a compound bow, I wouldn’t exactly consider myself a master at using any of them. (Particularly the bow, because when one lives in an urban area, there’s no SPACE.) But while I do lack actual EXPERIENCE, I have researched the subject of…[Read more]

@GracieGirl HEY! YOU’RE BACK! Yayyy!! Has your life settled down a little? Have you been able to do any writing?
Trust me, we really did miss you (though I haven’t been on here just tons lately so I didn’t suffer from it as much as some people probably did. ;P ). *serious nod* Good to have ya back.

The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy, by Trenton Lee Stewart
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens (though that and the previous might be a little slow if you’re looking for action. But then again, if you’re reading something like Les Mis, you might not mind. 😀 They’re great.)
Mistborn trilogy by…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper That’s WONDERFUL! D’ye get to edit it now, or are you working on something else?
Just so you know, the title Sector One is very cool.

@itisastarrynight So, I had that exact same question just a week ago.
And I started a blog. I had no idea what I was going to write about, but as soon as I started it, I started finding ideas.
To get a general idea of what bloggers blog about, I’d check out a bunch of blogs. There are some good ones on the page of my blog.
For me, I get the…[Read more]

@graciegirl *lowers voice* I haven’t read a lot of steampunk either. At least, not a lot of variety. Just H. G. Wells’ stuff. It’s really good.
*is super happy to find a fellow Star Trek fan* The Next Generation is my favorite! Do you have a favorite character?

*immediately withdraws her friendship* NOW YOU DON’T. 😀

(I love our use of smiley faces… Like, we could be saying the meanest, most insulting things, but if we put a smiley face at the end, it’s all good. XD)
-
*gasp* NOOO!!!!
XD Yes. Smiley face means all good things.
-
And every time I see your new profile pic, I get confused. 😂
-
Who is that weird dragon acting as Dragon Snapper?
-
-
Exactly. It’s terrifying.
-
Well, I’ll probably end up changing it back soon. I love my old Dragon Snapper picture more than any other profile photo I’ve been able to come up with.
Wait. It’s terrifying? Hee hee. I WIN!

@dragon-snapper That new profile pic is so un-intimidating that Stan is laughing at you
I mean, HE could beat that… monkey-dragon thingy.
😀 😀 (smiley faces at the end so that it’s all good)-
What monkey-dragon?
😉
*melts all the chairs in the world* *particularly Stan’s chair*
😀 (smiling faces so it’s all good) XD
@sam-kowal-
*sniff*
The monkey-dragon that was so damaging to your image you had to dismiss it from your service*glare*
That wasn’t even Stan’s leather couch! That was our landlord’s! Oh well, Stan had already shredded it anyway
😀

Heyyyy…. What happened to your 100 friends? O-O
Yeah, that monkey dragon… Um, what on Taranar WAS that?! Why!
Yes, I love your ol’ dragon pic, too! 😉-
@dekreel You have to actually click on my friends thing to see them all. For some reason, it’s a few friends off on that little circle thing.
That was…my attempt at a more -professional profile pic. It seems to have failed. XD At least I know your all’s opinions on it. HAHAHAHA! Both you and @sam-kowal and @ethryndal.

@that_writer_girl_99 That is a very thoughtful gift! How shall I melt it? Hehe. *melts chair, but this time because she’s so happy*
@radically-surrendered *eats all flavors of ice cream* I love them all, but vanilla and raspberry are my favorites.

Completely unrelated. Other Olivia Whites do seem to follow us around, though.
Funny.
We’ve bumped into other Sophia Whites, too — one of them, when we lived in the Cities, went to the same hospital and our records got mixed up once. It’s weird how often that happens.
Oh, and then when people who know us personally call each of us by the other’s name, things get even more complicated in no time.
Uh, yikes. That’s freaky.
What, you and your sister? Do you look similar? That I’m used to. People think my oldest sister Elizabeth and I look incredibly similar (supposedly, we really do, but I don’t think the resemblance is THAT close), and we get called each other ALL the time. People confuse us for twins even. She’s four years older than me.…[Read more]
