I can agree that you should change the name of the elves. Personally I prefer the idea of having more unique names. It makes the world feel more unique. I also feel that it can be be interesting to re-name some stuff from our real world (speaking of which I still need to rename guns for Kharvia 🤔).

You should do it! I agree that elves are a bit overused. Idk how to describe it, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like using species developed by other authors (not that its bad) makes it come off as a bit of a upgraded fanfic to an extent XD!
