@dekreel Ooh, ooh! I’m here! *raises hand* 😀 I’m contemplating whether to do more homework or work on my story, and I’m leaning toward the latter… 🙂

@dekreel Yeah, it’s pretty cool. 🙂 Everyone who’s posted drawings (and there may’ve been some collages, I can’t remember anymore) on here did a really great job.

@Emily Ah, that’s too bad. Sometimes interest helps one remember stuff, and sometimes it doesn’t. Astronomy could be interesting… How are you liking it? I’m doing both Psychology and Biology for science this year. I originally wasn’t going to do the latter, but then Dad decided to make me do it because he wants me to be able to go to college if…[Read more]

@Emily That depends on how you define “here”… Just kidding. 😀 Yeah, I’m still here. And still working on psychology. I’m on the last question I’m answering today, though, so that’s nice. That’s neat that you like more of the medical aspect. 🙂 Since you do like it, is it easier for you to remember the different kinds of brain chemicals or just…[Read more]

@Emily Ah. Sounds fun. 🙂 I might have to save my Geometry for tomorrow… We’ll see what happens. Yeah, I thought psychology would be fun and easier to understand, but then my book goes and talks about brain chemistry and other things I don’t care about (though, I am pretty picky about what I am or am not interested in… XP) I’m more interested…[Read more]

@Emily Great job on finishing your school! I should’ve had mine done hours ago, but I’m not feeling very well today, and I’d rather be either writing or taking a nap. *glares at homework I have yet to do* Psychology’s mostly interesting when I’m reading it, but not so fun when I have to answer 15 long questions… Anyway. What’s your book about?

@Emily I’m sort of on… Doing homework… *sighs* When I’m done (whenever that will be) I plan to work on straightening out a few tangles in my Snow White retelling.

@dekreel If I understand it right, people can draw each other’s characters or their own.

@catwing Not sure how I missed your picture of Rebekah, but it’s really awesome! And I’d love to see the pictures of your dog from years ago. I’m really sorry it’s been over a month since I replied… I’ve no recollection of getting that notification!

@Dragon-Snapper You should make @Ethryndal herself call you a kid (for perfectly justifiable reasons, obviously) if anyone’s gonna do it.
The LoKD is becoming…a LEGEND. O.o Actually, it’s been one for a while… *rubs hands gleefully* You must have way too much fun with these.
If I’m in there and have a moment, you could have me trying…[Read more]

Yeah…it’s an interesting dilemma to say the very least. I think, I don’t think, it would ever really be possible, because only God can make real sentience, and humans, no matter how incredibly complex were their discoveries and inventions, could never reproduce what God does. Subcreation; we can ultimately only ever mimic…[Read more]

Yup. Let’s hope. 😉
Wait, REALLY?! Well…yay! I came across Blender several times in my searches, but I passed it by because (1. As far as I could tell it was only for animation, not videos as well, and (2. It said it had a very steep learning curve, and Douglas (my brother) is incredibly liable to give up on steep learning curves.…[Read more]

@Leumeister Because they, being robots, but built in such a way to act as humans, and almost, in effect, BE humans, will therefore seem like humans. And think like humans, right? And in all other ways, seem human; but, being robots, they wouldn’t actually have souls, would they? Or at least…maybe not. I dunno. And since they would think and see…[Read more]

@Leumeister Well, he knows basically nothing about the actual craft of writing; he just thinks he wouldn’t like it. He’s tried writing his stories down before—starting, at least. Maybe when he actually knows what good writing entails, he’ll like it. 😉
And I’ve thought of asking you before (because you’re the animation guy) but just never…[Read more]
