@the_lost-journal I’d say a good majority of us here probably are.
I’ve never been but I’ve heard of it!

@linus-smallprint Well, technically, I wasn’t really shipping them that hard, but I did notice that they could be a couple and assumed it was intentional.
Honestly, it’s actually better this way, that you didn’t plan to have romance. That meant it came up naturally due to your character’s’ personalities and isn’t shoehorned into the plot. Y…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint Nope, shipping names are common in virtually every fandom community. Sometimes they’ll combine the names, and sometimes they’ll take words that have to do with the characters and use that instead.

@whalekeeper yes! While Clone Wars is the OG and thus I’m always gonna view it highly, Bad Batch focuses more on a singular story, and most of the sideplots are only one episode long (and most of them tie into the main story toward the end; I say most cause there are a few outliers) It’s more solid and linear in its storytelling.
Fun fact,…[Read more]

I’ll join in too if that’s okay. =) My family is having a thing at our house tomorrow though, so I might not be able to stay long.

I did not end up finishing the show. My siblings watched too far ahead of me, and the school year was starting. :’)
aww man!
I hope you’ll get around to it eventually, it gets GOOD. Like, intense good, not that it wasn’t already phenomenal.

@whalekeeper btw did you finish The Bad Batch? I was listening to a remix of its theme song and was reminded that you were watching it.
Man, I still love those characters, even if I’m not currently writing a WIP with them in it. I might, though–I have a few ideas still floating around.

@linus-smallprint I like that idea. While I didn’t have too big of problems with the old one, this new one is a good trade-off and makes more sense to the storyline.

@linus-smallprint @whalekeeper yeah, for some reason most modern 2D animated cartoons really turn me off. IDK why, but the only 2D show I ever actually liked was a Tron-themed one that ran for only one season.
Those quotes are utterly hilarious though, more would be greatly appreciated lol

@koshka I will say however, with quotes, I’ve read the entire book of Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie and use quotes from that book for inspiration (and probably in my actual book)
I also read the other Peter Pan book Barrie wrote (Basically a prequel to Peter Pan) but…I don’t really suggest or recommend it because it was quite weird and a little…[Read more]

@koshka afraid I don’t have any incorrect quotes for this WIP, as it was years ago and I hadn’t even done incorrect quotes at the time XD (when did I start this book…idk…XD)
The year I’m not sure…it doesn’t take place in our world, so not any of our years…
The first book only spans across at least maybe a few months. The whole series (of…[Read more]

I write absurdist fiction. I’m pretty happy about it.
Join the club of “I don’t know what I write”
I guess I could call myself “the fanfic writer that’s not a fanfic writer cause she flat out refuses to write THAT STUFF that fanfic writers seem to be obsessed with”

@godlyfantasy12 This sounds amazing, can’t wait to see more!
@koshka I have literally TONS of incorrect quotes for my fanfic’s 10 major characters (well, technically only 9 show up in the quotes cause one can’t talk) lolllll
Glad to see someone else likes making them!

@hybridlore It appears twice, once in one of the Samuels or Kings as the name of a city, and once as a guy’s name in a random genealogy.
I wanted to say “the cake is a lie” but no one else will get that reference so…….
well ok Linus might get it cause he mentioned the same phrase once but other than that.
