Awesome! You’re doing pretty well. I’m only up to Chapter 3, where Chessy goes to the park for the first time.

Yay! Editing! How far through are you?

Yep, I’m editing Stars and writing Quillon and Sapphire’s first meeting. 🙂

I think it would have been quite a novel experience for Justice and Zac to see Chess in a skirt. Though actually the scene right at the start of Stars, Chessy wears a skirt when she and Jean go to the park.
He’s just generally a nicer, more polite person than Justice is. I like Stasya alot, he’s also kind of mysterious, even to me!

Literally the best YA series ever! (Not that I’ve read much YA…)

I haven’t really seen anything fantastic this year. I’ve been rewatching the Sherlock series though, and I love that. My mum saw the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (What a mouthful) movie though and she thought it was really good and we’re going to watch it together as soon as it comes out on DVD 😀
I also rewatched…[Read more]

I love Jean too *makes note to include him more as I edit*
I wear cargo pant sort of things quite regularly, and I do like them 😀 Chessy’s clothing choice is sort of like mine. Chessy is just generally heavily based on me, we’re both that tomboy, yet still girly, sort of person.
I’m secretly in love with Stasya too. I picture him…[Read more]

I haven’t seen it either, but people are terrible at keeping secrets. I, however, shall keep my lips sealed.

@alia Actually, there’s a kids series called the Sisters Grimm, which I read years and years ago, not the greatest, but they did a really good job blending a whole bunch of fairy tales. What about the Lunar Chronicles? Have you read those? They’re another really good collection of retellings that might help you a bit!

The queen has arrived.
( @jenwriter17 you shouldn’t say such things, I’m arrogant enough as it is)
First of all, I love this idea!! But…I’m thinking it probably doesn’t need many more fairy tales, or else its going to end up pretty confused. Having said that, the princess could go on her quest and she could…come across some scenes…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 You like Marvel? Yes? Have you seen Infinity War?

Now, I’m laughing at myself because you said three guesses and character and my super tired brain interpreted it wrong. I am curious though about what characters you like other than Zac.
(I also agree about Justice. He has no middle ground that guy. He’s either super emotionless or super emotional. He’s way too tiring to write)

I’ve just been reading all the previous posts and laughing. Though I am curious, you and @jenwriter17 definitely agree on Zac being the best character, but you were talking about your three favourite characters. So who are your other two characters?
Also, as soon as Alia gets to the end of Stars, I’m pretty sure I’m going to die.

I guess I’ve always been one of the lucky ones who doesn’t care very much about my appearance, but I’ve definitely been where you are (except people always think I’m waaay older than I actually am, which is just as annoying as being seen as too young). Its really easy to look in the mirror sometimes and think “I’m not as beautiful as…[Read more]

Love the ideas coming out at the moment! One trope in the superhero genre that annoys me though is that the teen is always “Cursed” with incredible powers which they constantly whinge about. What if a) Kaylee volunteered for the experiment, maybe her uncle told her the truth about her parents death and promises to help her bring t…[Read more]

Sorry, I was having internet troubles ;D I don’t know why, but it just cut out.
No, I don’t really know any Youtubers, occasionally I watch a video on writing if it pops up, but I usually just read blogs.
Farewell (again!)

Nope, it’s set in the French Revolution and it’s about a guy who rescues people from the guillotine. Its one of those weird old classics that everyone (including myself) loves!
