Like Daniel listens to KP anymore.
He gave you everything.
His time.
His laugh.
He works, his effort, his blood, his sweat, and his tears.
You killed him. You cast him out.
You are all unworthy.

…I happen to romantically love existential crisis. Don’t tell me I can’t have them, and give them.
And if you don’t know what it is…
I’m so sorry.
If you really want to know, go read that short story I posted on here…somewhere, I dunno. It’s a pretty good summary.

The funniest bit, is that I actually had an entire post planned out.
I’m never gonna post it though, because as Rosey said, a smart person /should/ be able to infer the entire thing from my other post.
And because since the KPR cancellation, I’ve lost all loyalty to this place.

I try not to have finished thoughts. When I do, they become boring.

I think that the way to really get cliff hangers to work properly (and actually, this ties in perfectly with bringing the book title into your last sentence), is to really make them, so that

Pfft. I’m going with stories that make me cry, because stories are stories, whatever form they’re in:
1. Harry Potter. It’s sad. So. Many. Times.
2. To Kill a Mockingbird. I usually can hold together pretty well, but that last stinkin’ line…
3. Halo. Just…it’s terribly sad.
4. Many Doctor Who things. Because it’s Doctor Who

Ezra Wilkinson replied to the topic 1st person or 3rd person? in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 1 month ago
1st person is very different than third person really. It depends on the feel you want. In 1st person, the reader needs to /always/ be connected emotionally with the MC, and should /never/ have the same sort of connection to other characters as he/she would in third person.
What’s the point of the story? Is it about how all these people work and…[Read more]

I think Sarah’s really right about the “Why do I want to do this?/Is it essential/meaningful to the story?” questions.
I’ve found that perhaps the root of 90% of the problems in books I read is lack of necessity. Why is this subplot there? Why do we need to hear this information? Why is this character acting this way?
Basically, what purpose is…[Read more]

What could this corset do anyways? You say it is of all power, but what do you mean by all. Can I (excuse me, one who is wearing it (not I. Ha!)) rearrange the order of the universe simply by touching their nose with their left hand?
OK, imagine that you’re wearing the corset…everyone now…imagine him in the corset.
Are you…[Read more]

You have summoned me.
The question, as I see it, is somewhat simple in concept. Because really, what is writing but creating stories where the reader is forced to relate to things that they have never experienced? I don’t know what it’s like to murder someone. When I read Edgar Poe’s “A Tell-Tale Heart” I feel connected to it. I relate to what I…[Read more]

Pfft, I’m not gonna read all your comments. You think I’m not lazy or something?
Hm… this comes pretty close. ‘Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.’ And that’s… in Proverbs, somewhere. Chapter thirty, I think.
This is about the…[Read more]
