How about the “Remembrance” series?

Hm… I like all those as titles, but as the name of a series… I don’t know. The ‘Remember’ Series?
I’ll play around with it some more and see if I can come up with something. I like the chronicles idea, Hope, it’s just so many fantasy stories are the chronicles of something. I may do the something chronicles, though. I don’t know. Thanks for…[Read more]

10 foot tall large headed short legged monster with three eyes and long teeth and a fury hide emerges from wood chasing Rameaux.

Arianwen: *taking Quinn’s hand and bowing her head courteously* “Arianwen.”
*Glances around in amused concern, slips hand into folds of long blue mantle.* “Do you suppose that man is quite all right?” *Sees Anna* “My lady! Do you live”— *stops, frowns as ferocious snarling erupts from woods. “Excuse me a moment, Quinn.” *Draws long knife from…[Read more] -

(from woods) *Sounds of ferocious snarling*
Rameaux: Are you hungry? Well so am I! *a cry of alarm*

It works best how the author likes it best.
Personally though, I would keep it separate.

Arianwen: *laughing* “Wait—! I… I’m sorry, sir…don’t you think… never mind.” *Stands staring after Rameaux, eyes sparkling with puzzled, laughing concern. Shakes head finally and turns to Quinn with cheerful smile.*
Arianwen: “I’m not… quite sure how I came here. Do you live here? What is this place, if I may ask? I would be glad if you…[Read more] -

Rameaux: “Well this is an awkward situation. Do you suppose we should start by killing one of the monsters on this island and eating it for breakfast, or do you others travel best on an empty stomach?” *Looks around* “Alright then.” *Dashes off into the woods waving a sword*

You can’t change His nature or make Him different from the way He is to suit your story.
I don’t think Little Brown Dog made any attempt to do this. In her story, as I understand, her god character possess the same attributes as God (or at least as near as a human writer can portray it). The only difference I see is that he chose to c…[Read more]

How about:
We are sons of heroes
The kings who came before us
Tales of yesterage
They sailed through bloody seas (borrowed of course. This one is certainly dramatic buy you have to balance it with its grimness)
They lived like usOr if you must have it be one word.

Um… how? 😛

I actually thought of that, but the problem is I start at almost the very end of the story, then go all the way back to the beginning… um, let me give some backstory.
This is basically an ‘historical’ series. The first two books are set in the eleventh age (eleven thousandth year) of my make-believe whatever-you-call-it. Then I go all the way…[Read more]

COOL!
I’m up for it. You’ll have to bear with me as I am new to this game, but I want to do this so I’m not going to let that stop me. *nods, clenches fist* I can do this. Just tell me when I do something wrong. 😛

That sounds like a fantastic idea.
I just need to get a few things straight. First of all, what exactly do you mean by and inter-genre island? Will we have to fight robots with flintlocks, hack into Louis XIV’s headquarters to disable the anti-escape systems on the island, or debate weather dragons are real and can help us escape?
Also, will we…[Read more]

You might have to give up your one word dreams. I don’t think there is a word for generations that is dramatic.
I’m guessing you are going with this title because each new book will be the story of the next generation in a heroic line. If so, I think what is more important is the passing along of characteristics, heirlooms, or values from one…[Read more]

I don’t usually scream for help, but I’ve got a problem here I can’t figure out and I was hoping you guys had some ideas.
It’s really simple.
I need a name for my series. Its current name is ‘Generations’ but that isn’t dramatic enough for me. I just need a word (I’d like to keep it a one word title if I can) that means basically the same thing…[Read more]

Hey, I like that guys. 😀
So are we outlining Walter’s whole story, or just the parts that mark key points in his development?
