Hello, Cass! Fantastic description of writing, too–I can tell you practice what you preach. 😉 Keep it up! We need more word painters.
So are you working on any stories right now? If so, what are they about? -

Howdy, Bethany! It’s good to see a fellow OYANer here. ^_^ What’s your OYAN forum name?
And your story sounds verra cool. How long have you been writing?

(Right, those quirks will usually work themselves out as you go along XD Though, I tend to write my endings first, and the hardest part for me is the point right before the Black Moment, as well as that dreaded. first. page. o.o)
When you finish the first chapter, you should post it in the critiques section! I’d like to read it 🙂
Right, I…[Read more]

Haha! True. The book’s always better!
Uhhh…well, honestly, I found it pretty ridiculous. 😛 But, then again, it was late night/early morning, and I was home alone, so I was eager to be amused and mock myself into relaxing after the creepy bits XD Maybe if I watched it when less sleepy/on edge, I’d appreciate it more. -

That was my same thought on it 🙂 It’s been able to remain pure, and not mixed up with slang and the like.
No problem! I like using the insults listed there 😀 Which…is probably not so good of me XD “Ego, mibo orch” is just so tempting to grumble at someone, though!

This is a great thing to be passionate about! Saving money, cutting back on waste, making pretty things…and then getting to write about it. ^_^ I agree that Pinterest is great for this purpose, and so many others XD I hope you can continue to find good uses for your ability to write on this subject! What other areas of this topic have you written about?

O.o Ohhhhhhh… That sounds REALLY cool! B) How far along are you in it?
Awesome! I LOVE both of those series. What do you think of the HG movie?
Gotcha…That makes sense 🙂 I don’t really have a favorite genre, either.

Hi, Bethany!
What story(ies) are you working on right now? And I like to play around with song writing, too! I’m AWFUL at it if I’m not in the mood, though XD
Hurrah, fellow OYAN-er! *high-fives*
What are some of your favorite books? Have a favorite genre?

Ohhhh, that sounds interesting! 🙂 You should post some of it in the critiques section, so we can read it!
Ha! Yeah, I’m the same. Finishing is difficult. I’ve found that if I write the ending of the story at the start, though, it gives me an end goal to work towards. Maybe you could try that?
I am currently working on the second draft of a…[Read more]

So, guys, I’ve found that I write so much better when I’m listening to music…but I’ve also heard others say that music – at, at least, certain types of music – really just ruins their concentration.
How about you? Do you have a certain type of music that will get you out of writer’s block, or maybe a song that fits one of your characters or…[Read more]

Hello, Shaina!
Forums are fantastic 🙂 I hope you enjoy this one. It’s pretty awesome B)
Fantasy is a fun genre, but TOUGH at times! (or Maybe that’s just me…) Have a fantasy story you’re working on right now? I’d love to hear about it!

YES!!!!!!! 😀 It’s actually not all that complicated to learn. Did you know that it was generally agreed that his languages he made are some of the most – if not THE most – perfectly-structured languages ever? He was a MASTER 🙂
This is a good site to get started with. http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish.html Plus, it has tons of links to…[Read more]

Hi, Shaina! Welcome to the Kingdom Pen forum! Hope you enjoy it here! We’re still pretty small, but more people have been starting to join recently.
It’s cool that you write fantasy! Feel free to post excerpts of anything you would like feedback on in the “critiques” section of the forum. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. 🙂

Yes you can. One of my sisters is learning it right now. I want to learn it, but don’t have a lot of time. <_<

You’ve really got me intrigued! Once I have some free time (hahaha…ha… 🙁 ) I’ll put it on my to-read list. 🙂
Have you watched any of the video adaptions? Or are they too horrendous for us to speak of them? XD -
Kristian Snow replied to the topic in the forum Erin Joy 10 years, 10 months ago
Yeah, she really brought several interesting twists into the film… Plus, kept things lively. I’m curious to see what PJ will do with her at the ending, considering, well… Book spoilers
