@epicaddie2 One more thing…this is a story that has inspired me in the darkest times of my life.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints on the sand — one belonging to him and the other to the Lord. When…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 I wish I could hug you right now! I totally know what you’re going through…I’ve been there myself and it’s so easy to lose sight of the fact that God is there with us no matter what. And if it’s any encouragement, you have friends here. Hang in there and keep plowing through. God has something absolutely beautiful plan…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 That is totally relatable.
I’ll be remembering to pray for you, because this is very similar to what I face, only it’s not a loneliness issue but still a faith issue.
If I could say two things to encourage you, first of all, “In everything give thanks.” Boy, this helps. I think we feel depressed because we feel weak. In thankfulness,…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 Wow! hang in there! lately God has been showing me how important it is to trust him. I think that I know what His will is for me, and then it changes or circumstances make it impossible. I tend to try and figure things out. Is this what He means? What does this mean I need to do next? What is His will for me now? It’s confusing, but…[Read more]

That’s pretty accurate, actually. And, I must say, pretty good!

I’m personally not the greatest in consistently praying for others, to be honest. But I feel called to support others through prayer more often and so here I am. @epicaddie2 @clairec I will be praying for you guys! @dekreel And for your friend, too. Is she a believer?

Daeus replied to the topic First time writing historical fiction in the forum Historical 6 years, 10 months ago
@epicaddie2 You don’t have to do this, but if you want to write a really in-depth historical fiction story, I’ve read that you don’t want to just read about the time period, but you want to read in the time period. Read the books that were famous at the time, preserved letters from the time period, newspaper articles, etc.

@epicaddie2 I love writing historical fiction and I love the 1700’s! I think the biggest tip I can give for writing in this genre is research, research, research. The more research you do the more realistic the story will seem. Do plenty of research about the location of your story, looking up articles and history of the place, what is was like in…[Read more]

@inkling-for-christ The reason why I think the film does do the book justice is becasuse of just how well made and crafted it was in only 15 minutes. This was their way of making something that can be made into a full-length tv series and expanded throughout the books and its lands. It was a sample of what can be done further. And within this…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 Definitely! I know what that’s like. I had to fly without my parents last year (I was with my sisters so it wasn’t as bad), but I was a little nervous too. 🙂

I seriously need some help editing/critiquing my story Partners in Crime. I hope to begin posting the parts of it on my blog (again), in February. I can’t remember who has, and who hasn’t read it on kingdom pen. I’m going to mention some people, and if you can help me, this is what I need:
I just need someone to go into my story using the link…[Read more]

A friend of mine was going to get married last week, but the morning of the wedding the groom called it off. I don’t think they’re engaged anymore. 🙁 Please pray for her and her family. She’s so heartbroken.
