I’m sorry, I know this isn’t my conversation, but I have to say thank you so much for writing this, ‘Depression is a result of worry. Depression kills your joy and the joy of the Lord is your strength. When you aren’t worrying, you’re stronger and nothing seems impossible.’, @Daeus. I so needed that. Seeing other people say this kind of thing rat…[Read more]

@Kate-Flournoy NO! It’s good!! I love it!
When you start analyzing a dinner conversation from your character’s point of view.
@Rolena-Hatfield That’s hilarious, though. 😀

When you get addicted to analyzing every single bingle aspect of a story due to listening to them.

‘kay, @Daeus, I think it’s working. The last two topics started in General Writing Discussions gave me a notification. In the spam folder; but that’s where my original notifications used to go, so maybe it’ll fix itself. 😛 Thanks.

oh, sweet. And you should be able to mark the sender as non-spam if you want to.

Um, honestly, I’ve never actually done it. I don’t get much spam and I don’t have a special spam folder. Adding the sender to your contacts might do it or if you mark it as not junk it might learn to accept the sender, but I’m really not sure how it’s done, just that it can be.

Neat stuff, @Kate-Flournoy. I hadn’t seen all of those. I especially like #5 (Creation vs. Evolution) and #13 (Lincoln’s face. Shall we get into the Lincoln debate, or not get into the Lincoln debate? 😉 ).
The thing I learned from going out west is that Ohio is awesome.
That’s great, @Daeus. I agree wholeheartedly. 🙂

Thanks, @Rolena-Hatfield, @Daeus. I’ll try what you said, Daeus, and watch the e-mail to see what sort of notifications I get. If it works I’ll let you know.

@Daeus @Rolena-Hatfield I thought one of you would probably know this since you’re the moderators. Is there any way to make it so I get a notification at the e-mail I’m signed up with whenever a topic is started on the forum?
-
Hey Emma! Wow great question. Not that I know of. (unless @Daeus knows something I don’t) That would be pretty cool though. I can look into it if Daeus doesn’t know. 🙂
-
@emma-flournoy I’ve never tried this, but if you go under the top forum categories (e.g. “general writing discussions”), there is this little blue text near the top of the page that says subscribe. If you click that, it may do what you’re talking about. Either that or it will subscribe you to every single post made under all of general writing…[Read more]

I’m not worried. Don’t worry. 😛
But if I’M being too familiar, don’t hesitate to let me know. I don’t want to be breeding any contempt. 😉
I’d be glad to help you remember, but how exactly do you mean? I wouldn’t like to tell you to stop being lighthearted if you were; how do you mean?-
@emma-flournoy Sure. Basically just drop me a note every now and then so I won’t forget. You don’t need to point out anything in particular.

@Kate-Flournoy Um, yeah. 😛
@Daeus
I was quite wicked back then, but with nothing against dark hair. 😉 Just enjoyed hurting people I didn’t like’s feelings. *shakes head* I’ve quite gotten over any pleasure that sort of thing gave me.
And I’m not worried in the least what I said about dark hair hurt your feelings. 😀 -

Most interesting. 😛
Well…I once told my little sister with black hair in @Kate-Flournoy ‘s hearing that she was the cutest girl with black hair I’d ever seen, just to make Kate sad (as Kate has black hair). That was many years ago, and it’s only funny in retrospect because Kate and I are such great friends now. 😀
I know, terrible.
