@Daeus Oh wow. Do you mean any movie of Les Mis you’ve ever seen, or any movie at all?

Emma Flournoy replied to the topic Have you read…? in the forum Book Discussions 9 years, 6 months ago
@His-Instrument I’m reading it right now, and L.O.V.I.N.G. it. The fifty pages on Waterloo were a little hard to get through, though the stuff was interesting. Are you reading an unabridged version?
@Daeus Handel’s Messiah? Ooh, yes. And you’ve seen the play of Les Mis?? Is it accurate to the book?

@Christi-Eaton Heh, I know what you mean. 😀
@Sierra-R Oh you like Les Mis too? That makes me feel better about the whole hijacking think. 😛
@Gretald The best thing since ICE CREAM? Seeing as this is you talking, you must like it well. 😉 Here, you can have a cane, long overcoat, and top hat for your appeasement.

Oh @Christi-Eaton how exciting! I did see that conversation. I’m sure it would be…interesting (and fun?) to play Madame Thenardier…but…well, she has her problems. 😛 Good luck!!!
Oops @Kate-Flournoy. I thought you might be miffed about it. 😀 Too sad. I knew you’d be back soon enough to join in. Come on and sing like a revolutionary—it’s…[Read more]

I’ll continue in your little revolution or whatever this is, as long as we get to sing “Do You Hear the People Sing?” at the top of our lungs.
@Christi-Eaton that sounds like fun!! Too bad I’m on the opposing side of the revolution… *hums softly to self* ‘do you hear the people sing…singing the songs of angry men’. Oh wait, I can be the l…[Read more]

I think just Mum and Dad will be good. Maybe Mother and Father next; but no Pa or Ma for sure. That doesn’t sound sea-ish at all. The others don’t sound sea-ish, either ( 😛 ), but for the type of story…

A kid??!! Awww… 😉
Or not?
Hmmm…um…um…this isn’t working.
Err…Claudo? Mangia? JUST KIDDING.
Ketto. OK, that has no logical background WHATSOEVER. It just popped into my head. And I know, it doesn’t sound Latin at all. 🙁-
Yes, a kid. Ahhh… 😉
Haha. I love the fact that you were trying to take it off the parents.
Ketto is a cute name and I think I know who I could use it for.

Me either…pretty much what applies to Kate applies to me. 😉 That sounds terribly fun, though I don’t write books. I hope you have a good time with whoever can come. 😀

@Anne-of-Lothlorien Aaah that never ending story is so never ending! It’s like kid book covers where the subject of the book cover is holding the same book it’s on, with the same picture of that character holding that book with that character holding that book on it!!! (Richard Scarry’s Bedtime Stories 😀 )
Or standing in a room with mirrors on…[Read more] -

Lady, you are doing excellently with the whole tagging people thing, for someone who recently got on! *thumbs up*
Though I guess if you’ve been stalking awhile you’ve seen it explained before. 😉Oh, and I don’t imagine there’d be anything so horrible about exile in even remotely Shire-like land. 😀
