Are we waiting another year for Episode VIII because of Rogue One???
I know! I just want more of this new trilogy, not to be interrupted by some hardly related movie! Maybe there won’t be a two year gap between the second and third in this trilogy though, since there won’t be a Rogue One to take the time. Let’s hope.

@His-Instrument Any schedule complications aside, I’ll tell you I won’t be coming. Not really being a writer, that wouldn’t be practical. It sounds like tons of fun though, so have tons of fun!
And thanks anyway for the invite. 🙂 -

@PerfectFifths It wasn’t me. I was talking about it too (the types), but @Kate-Flournoy was the fount of knowledge. 😀
She’s also an INFP, btw. 😉And we’re a team about Rogue One. 😛 I think it’ll be interesting (though from the trailers it looks to have pretty bad acting. *sigh*) but I’m not particularly looking forward to it. *shrug* (That is…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien @Daeus hey, that’s a neat idea. That could go several ways, especially with how they’d figure from a different world to fix their problem.

Ooh, if the door’s not going to be in the main library you may as well put it in the cellar @Anne-of-Lothlorien.

@Rolena-Hatfield Whew! I didn’t think there was anything there you would have taken offense at…certainly not. 😛 I thought it might have been malfunctioning notifications, but wasn’t sure. Mebbe I just should’ve tagged you again, instead of making you think I was afraid I’d offended you. *sheepish grin*
Anyway, you are so welcome; you’re such a…[Read more] -

@Sarah-H Okay; probably not, if they’re people who like deep things. I don’t think that age would be too young for hearing Les Mis, as long as they’re pretty mature. But I think that Les Mis wouldn’t be the best book for reading aloud anyway, no matter the age of your audience. Parts of it, while not necessarily bad (though a little too detailed…[Read more]

@Daeus Well, if the incentive directly related to your work would be an audio of the same book I’d read from you, and not another work of yours or something different but having to do with your book, I’d probably stick to what I first said. The classic would motivate me more (well, obviously depending on what it was. 😛 But most classics to me are…[Read more]

@Sarah-H Well…no, I don’t think so. It’s too deep; also too grown up in some content. Littler kids wouldn’t understand (or need to hear) a lot of it, and I don’t think it would hold their attention well either.

Just here to reinforce (with reinforcements of colossal import, mind you) any other Les Miserables recommendations there’ve been. The more there are, the more likely someone will start it. 🙂 I finished it today and around my eyes is literally puffy with all the crying I’ve done, but it’s so worth it. That book is amazing.

Um whoops, reading Kate’s post just now, it hit me you meant if I’d already read your book. 😛 (I saw that in your post but forgot.) So if I’d read your book and loved it, I’d probably want more from you.

@Daeus I’d go more for the classic, I think.

@Daeus I searched and the Logan library has it. Yes. *hugely happy grin* I’ll ask if we can have it shipped to our nearer library for us to check out.

@Daeus I think the library closest to us is part of the Logan library system…I don’t think the Logan library is part of the Columbus system. I’ll see if I can look it up.
I might just be needing help if I can’t find and read such a thematically rich book though. 😛

@emma-flournoy Oh Emma! For some reason I wasn’t notified of your first (really sweet 😉 ) comment! Of course you didn’t say something wrong! That’s very sweet of you to say and encouraging. Honoring my parents is sooooo important to me (as it should be) but very difficult to do sometimes. My posts have even been convicting to me. (I said this I…[Read more]
