@Ethryndal How’s your mom?
I really hope y’all were able to do whatever it was.-
@Emma-Flournoy. Aww, thanks. We were going to go to the Academy of Arts production of Prince Caspian in South Carolina, but the performance we were going to up being canceled due to bad weather. So it’s kind of an indirect answer to prayer, because now we can exchange our tickets for a later performance when, Lord willing, Mom will be feeling b…[Read more]

Yeah, it’s a play. Last year, they did one of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and it was SO GOOD. LWW being one of my favorite things ever (book and movie), I wasn’t expecting much, but they really did an incredible job on it. So good, in fact, that Doug Gresham actually flew over from England for the premiere of PC. I thought that was kind of neat. 🙂

I don’t know who Doug Gresham is, but that sounds significant. 😛-
Oh, sorry. Doug Gresham is C. S. Lewis’s step-son. He’s kind of significant. 😉

@Dragon-Snapper You could write about an ultimately awesome dragon who melts peoples’ chairs…no seriously! If you’d like to write comedy!
But I’ll think more and pop back in if a really good one strikes. -

@Ethryndal Okay, no one wants the disappointment of Toothless for the rest of their life. 😛
And Lord of the Rings geek compulsion…I can’t imagine what that’s like. (*coughcoughcough*)
@Dragon-Snapper I haven’t read them…I’ve only seen the 1st HTTYD movie. Don’t melt me.

I’ve read it now too. A book with heart to it is right, @Daeus. (Obviously, since you don’t say un-right things. 😉 )
It’s very, very good. Certainly unusual, but a thinking book as Kate said, and I love those. -

I adore that quote. 🙂
I thought Gandalf said it though?-
@emma-flournoy At the end of Two Towers, when Frodo and Sam were in Osgiliath, and Frodo was acting like a crazy person and shoving swords into Sam’s throat and stuff like that, and Sam came up with his little pep talk/inspirational speech to keep from dying (to paraphrase just a little XD). It’s part of that speech.
And yeah, that’s one of my fa…[Read more]-

@Aysia-Serene Fashionably late I am, but welcome, welcome, and thrice welcome!!
Is your name pronounced like Asia, the country?
Oh my, what is that weird noise…I think it’s a master plot to drive their audiences insane so they can make zillions of dollars or something.
Yup, that it is. With every movie series that does that. It w…[Read more]

@Rolena-Hatfield Well, there could be no singing Christian songs; no songs with mention of God; maybe all documents with God mentioned banned even if they weren’t particularly Christian works (things like the Constitution, maybe?)…
That all seems a little basic. 😛 I can’t really think what else would happen other than the banning of all…[Read more] -
