@shannon I don’t know about you, but when I first think of a character, I think of a face/name…and something about them that is weird. That really helps to get the creative juices flowing a little bit.
When you are actually writing characters, don’t. Make. Them. Perfect. Make them real. Make them relatable. Give them a problem and/or…[Read more]

Random quote:
“So. How’s life with the humans?”

@dekreel Well…yes. There is a reason. The reason was that at the time I was bored, couldn’t find a name for the castle. So I glanced around the room–this was during homeschool break–saw a Singer sowing maching, and thus it was the name of the castle was born. 😉
Ooh yay! I’m curious to see how you portray me.

@dekreel That’s great news! Congratulations! *shakes your hand vigorously*
(And I must echo @dragon-snapper‘s question because I am just as curious…don’t feel obligated to put me into the story but…maybe?)

@dekreel Heya! I was thinking about making another Legend of King Daeus, but I know you’re writer your KPA, and I’d hate to insert myself, you know, steal the thunder. Would you like to finish the KPA before I got going on the Legend of King Daeus 3?

@dragon-snapper You got mine. That one was kinda easy. 😉

@dekreel Yay! I can’t wait! 😀 (Question: Am I in the story? No pressure, but I do have a tinge of writerly curiosity.)
(It’s written ‘Regnis’. It’s something spelled backwards. I’ll let you figure it out, if you wish.) 😉

@dekreel Okay, I was going to reply to you, but first I forgot and then I was busy, but enough excuses.
Mythbusters!!! Man I knew that sounded familiar.
@supermonkey42 Megamind, when Metroman and Megamind are arguing about the Heat of Revenge and the full, concentration power of the sun!

Oh dear. Titles.
Um….
Here are some brainstorms:
‘Accused’
‘Trial’
‘Justifiable’
‘Warlaw…’ (insert Loki facepalm here)
What kind of title are you going for?

@ingridrd Avengers! First person is Captain America, and the second is Iron Man. 😀
Here’s a quote: “Pain, love it.”

“We need a plan of attack!”
“I have a plan: attack!”

Jaclyn Fallows’ world has a history of turning upside down.
Like when she was suddenly able to create a small blue flame in the palm of her hand on her eighth birthday. Or when she started having the same dream about the sister who vanished without a trace two years ago.
But now, at fifteen, Jaclyn is in for the biggest change of her life. A m…[Read more]

@shannon Yeeeahh. That’s the problem about pansting. Along with a lot of other things…but it can be fun! There is funness to it… 😀
And I’m signing out now, having managed to write an extremely impressive 98 words.

@perfectfifths Completely random guess, probably wrong, but is it the Polar Express?

Snapper replied to the topic Writers' Corner #11 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 5 months ago
@shannon Pansting is fun–ah those good old days with no plot whatsoever. *contended and at the same time scared sigh*
And I’m writing my current novel, a futuristic utopian. Maybe I entioned this before, but the first ten chapters are never easy for me. It’ll get easier but I have to find my groove first.

Hmm… *shrug* Go ahead and write it! I have the feeling the KPA will take some time; as far as I can tell, it’s so long it needs chapters… Or at least that’s the plan. I have a hole in my plot (AGAIN! grrrrrrr). Can I please be in the next LOKD?? *big fanged smile*
Haha! I’ll do my best to include you. I’ll try to include everyone, but I have a hard time including a lot of characters in one story. That’s one way that your’s will be awesome. It can have a lot of people. 😀
Welp, I’ll go ahead and write, see what happens.
