@ellette-giselle thank you!!! I had to do his eye like three times before I got it right. Same with the guy’s hand.
@rae certainly! I’m not sure when I’ll find the motivation for it lol, but I’m definitely gonna write something for it.

@ellette-giselle oof poor guy.
That’s an age where it’s gotten much harder to just kinda brush it off, but at the same time you still don’t have the capability of fully understanding it yet.

I totally vibe with you guys!
I started writing a short story for this prompt for funzies (obviously I won’t enter it) and I just got it set up for my charrie to describe what happened and I’m at 1,000+! XD
Why I rarely write 500 word short stories!
As long as your story is between 500 and 10,000 words, and is…[Read more]

We should probably keep it under 3000 for the judge’s sake.

Baron (Brutus)—with Ben Gunn, Flare, Leon, and Julian, Everstrand edge
Reflecting off of the daggar, Brutus’s gaze flicked to Ben. “I thought you were an assassin.” He tilted the blade again, this time back to Leon. “I thought you were someone I know. That’s all it was.”

Yeah, mine is hitting 1,500+. A novella is more like 10,000+. I don’t think it takes too long to read a couple thousand words personally, this would be more up to Rae. 😅

*Blink* Holy cow! I was gone for like 6 hours and I see 3 more pages, lol.
Flare, Ben Gunn – With Baron, Leon, and Julian, Everstrand edge
Ben was clenching his throat. “Hey, I could’ve fought back, I just decided not to.”
“Sure, that’s what happened.” Flare rolled his reptile eyes. “I’m Flare. Hope you liked my song.” H…[Read more]

Hmm… Stripe jumps on Tyn and is preoccupied with that fight? (Though it probably would not last longer than 2 seconds…) Rour attempts to debate with Stripe, saying his quaral is only with Alan and any who stand in the way (Which is why he arrested Martha)? He may be asking to leave peacefully with Alan and Tyn, promising to…[Read more]

A week passed.
This feels a little odd right at the start of the book. I can see why you’re doing this, you’re trying to show us how over time he is adjusting, so I wouldn’t say it is a bad thing. It just feels unusual.
Joseph looked away. After a few minutes he heard Joseph’s voice in the kitchen. Sabina said something, and t…

YIKES! You changed your pic!
He he!
Anyhow, I don’t know why I even brought that up. I guess because it gives me recoil whenever I see it.
That’s fair. I feel the same way about ‘you do you’.
I’m trying to rework Chapter the 22nd like you suggested, but am a little stuck on what to do with Stripe. With Alan down, he would p…[Read more]

If I do go down there someday, would you be willing to meet me?
Sure! I know where the good coffee shops are.
I think the cut off is 18ish? You have to still be in high school
Yes it costs. You should look up the website for details I don’t remember

@ellette-giselle A teen camp/ conference they have in Moscow every summer. People come from all over the US. You get to be on a team and do activities and listen to talks. There’s a dance at the end of the week and you get a ton of time to bond with teammates while walking around town. It’s a blast, even for a major introvert like me. I’m too old…[Read more]
