@ellette-giselle ooof
worse than Twilight????
Somehow I thought that was nearly impossible to do without sacrificing all that makes a story. I mean like twilight has all that stuff, but a few of the story concepts are almost salvageable if they were in a completely different, better written story.

You have an older brother!! I’m so envious! I always wanted an older brother.
Yeah. We’re pretty close. Sometimes people even think we’re twins (or boyfriend and girlfriend as has happened before. That was very awkward) He’s a year and a half older than me. I also have two little brothers.

and what’s worse is when they attack the chicken coop after eggs and chicks, the protective hens are killed, but not eaten so it’s an icky sight.
My big brother was with me (Caleb. I used to call him by Cgecko on here but since Andrew knows him I didn’t want to have to explain) and he read your story about your brother’s…[Read more]

All right, Ellette, here you go. Getting close to 3,000 words of feedback for you here. Please let me know if anything doesn’t make sense or if the link is not working for you. I haven’t proofread this too carefully, so there may be some questionable grammar mistakes.

(if you were reading something like Fifty Shades of Grey or Twilight we would be having a totally different conversation)
OOOF NOOOOO NOT TWILIGHT
There was one good thing about it, and that was the fact that even my trashiest works look like masterpieces next to it. And they’re at least pretty much…[Read more]

Eeeeeeepers. Yeah no. I’m with Helmer on hights; they’re tolerable, but I’ll die with my feet on the ground, thank you very much.

True, true. I think I can claim my paralysis gloves though (although that was inspired by some medical stuff).
(No? But I was cringing inside and wide-eyed)

Nope. I’ve already typed up 1,367 words for you. I’ve been slowly chipping away at this when I’ve had the chance.

I’m getting there. I finished rereading your story and will hopefully have my answers for you very soon. In fact, I don’t have any pressing School assignments at the moment and have written a lot for my own story this week, so I will be working on that right away.

I think murderer could work as long as he said Like murderer, or almost was a murderer. If you want him to say something that he is, he could think of himself as a monster or wild beast. Or, since he is trying to be the hero, an interesting flip would be to have him decide, “I’m not the hero, I’m the villain.” That would flow wi…

I stole the idea from my brother, who has also never seen that.

The one about reading as a reader and then reading as a writer is so relatable!
You can ask @raxforge , but I have a habit of criticizing every book I read for school from a writer’s perspective. My tutor is still trying to convince me that Robinson Crusoe isn’t really as bad as I said. Good luck convincing a part German to…[Read more]

also, I’m not sure if you’re referring to Alan or Rour, but I think neither of them went too far. They both are wrong about something and think they’re right, and as such it’s messing with their minds.
I was referring to Alan attempting to kill Rour.
WHAT! He didn’t go save Martha!!!!
Alan! Grrrrrr!
Alan’s beginning…[Read more]

The chefs would have no idea what to do with a real chicken.
By ‘chefs’ you mean teenagers who can barely put processed food in the microwave, right?

Andrew replied to the topic Let's Laugh! Writing Memes in the forum Art 1 year, 8 months ago
That’ s because they don’t cook real chicken there.
LOLLL!!! I would like to argue against that but I have this feeling that you are right.

Leo
“I know.” Footsteps in the distance clicked faintly in his ears. A buzzing radio signal flared nearby. The security team no doubt. Leo looked at Rory, eyes narrowing. “You ever climbed a brick wall?”
He took the Kid’s wide eyes as an answer. Leo leaning against a classroom door as he fished around for the master key. Two…[Read more]
