Ari says yes. I don’t know what to RP for him saying that though.

Ellis

“If you would like to.”

@whalekeeper

I rarely enter these conversations, although it’s not because I don’t have thoughts to share. XD But I saw your post and thought I might have something to add.

As someone who does believe that speaking in tongues is the innitial sign of new birth by the Spirit, I still do not want to discount the experience you have with God. I…[Read more]

Moth

Moth looked from Ellis to Ari, and set down his bow as well. “May I say something that is a little embarrassing for me?”

@loopylin

@whalekeeper

To be clear, I’m just curious to know what y’all think and I have no intention of getting heated.

@reaganramm @power

Hey! Quick question, since you’re talking about the Holy Spirit!

I’ve had friends and acquaintances who say that you have to experience Holy Spirit through a sign like speaking in tongues, and if you don’t, you aren’t saved. There’s also the alternate belief that you can be saved without the Spirit, but the ideal place in…[Read more]

My mother was, though

Is she dead?

@ellette-giselle

Ah, yes, me when writing last night

@reaganramm

Yes, I agree! Definitely very visible!

Do you believe that there are different kinds of visual signs (besides love) that someone has received the Holy Spirit or just one?

I think that, since when we receive the Spirit, “you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father! The Spirit himself bears w…[Read more]

Why did you even open your mouth, Verenion?

Oh no Ari I’m sorryyy I apologize for my character I don’t know what’s wrong with him

@loopylin @whalekeeper

Ari

His eyebrow rose, but he made no other response. The statement didn’t seem to require one.

He hadn’t meant to give advice, only observe. Warn maybe. Why did you even open your mouth, Verenion?

No matter. He reached for his quiver.

It was empty. Perfect.

With a muttered, “don’t shoot me yet,” he set down his bow…[Read more]

Ellis

Ellis went very still. He looked away for a moment at the other archers with a blank look on his face.
“You’re quick to give advice.”

@loopylin @whalekeeper

*panicking because I haven’t actually decided what exactly Ellis is*

*Pained laughter because this is too relatable*

Ari

The boy’s mother? That was more human then, more than Ari’s blood.

No, the Elder are only cursed.

“Your brother?” He shook his head. “I’ve seen you around. Saw him when you first came in…[Read more]

Tavar

“We write and speak in the language of the Elders. Taenga Sinear. This common tongue is beginning to be used among strangers, so I learned it a few years ago but we’ve spoken the Teanga as long as memory lives. Here.” He…[Read more]

Ellis

One of Ellis’ own pointed ears twitched slightly. He fumbled with an arrow on his bowstring. “We’re not. My mother was, though,” he said, glancing at Ari. “You’ve met Lucian?”

@ellette-giselle

Pardon me bringing this back, lol. It just struck me suddenly today without me thinking about it. Jim wasn’t a Christian when he died, I don’t think. Right?
