This is Squooshy. His name is quite accurate.
We do not know what he is made of. He may or may not be radioactive. [not in reality lol]
He is friends with a small blue-tinted slinky. No one has the heart to tell him it’s a slinky and thus doesn’t have feelings.

now, living for them, I would do. The not-courage thing only extends to dying. All those other things, maybe, but I wouldn’t exactly know if I were doing it for my family, for myself, for someone else, if you know what I mean…?

@whalekeeper hmmm, you make good points.
@loopylin wow, this is gonna be hard. I might take it though.
@theducktator yeah, KOTLC….really straddles the line of “This is amazing” and “This completely stinks” when it comes to writing and plot. The worldbuilding, or at least most of it, is awesome though.

That sounds horrible and selfish, and I’m so sorry, but I really didn’t intend it to be.

@the_lost-journal I wanna say yes, and if it really came down to that I might.
but at the same time, I have a much, much stronger aversion to death than most people I know. For example, i live in Florida (not saying where specifically for safety reasons), and there are LOTS of thunderstorms in many places in the state. If I so much as see a…[Read more]

Interesting how he seems to have a connection to the other characters. I do agree his name blends in with the others’ but that’s not a bad thing, nor do you need to change it, that’s just me failing to pay attention lol

@linus-smallprint yeah, it’s just a first draft, those are never, ever perfect. Some can get close to how the end story is, but there’s inevitably gonna have to be at least one scene you cut, one set of dialogue you rework, one characters whose role changes, etc.

also I had video game soundtracks on in the background while I was doing schoolwork and this one decided to come on right as I started reading and hit the part when they discover the ruined university…..
…one of like three or four orchestral songs in that entire playlist, and oddly fitting too. Funny how that always happens. No matter what…[Read more]

Finished it! That was a rollercoaster, between confronting a false teacher and the destruction of the university. The plot thickens.

Basically my question is more of “Is this supposed to be a hypothetical eighth continent or small island somewhere in the world, or does this Earth have completely different continents, and the biblical places exist in different configurations?”
Sorry for such a weird question, and sorry if I’ve asked something similar before, but I just…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle I see. But is there a Europe somewhere else (nearby?), or does the island-continent in your map completely replace it?
As in, was the “Rome” referred to in the book of Romans what eventually became the Empire, or is it a different place in a different part of the world, and the two have similar cultures either just because…[Read more]

Since they have a Bible just like ours and reference the places within, this must take place on an alternate Earth; where, geographically, do you think it’d replace in our world?
