Once, I sprained my finger, and my brother and I made an elaborate story to tell my friends that involved portals, Narnia, and Aslan biting my finger. Then we realized that if the thing that represented God bit my finger, it would probably do more then just get sprained.

You know you are a writer when you make up stories to explain any minor scratches and bruises… “This cut? Oh, I got it in a sword duel. And I got this hangnail fighting an ogre.”

@dragon-snapper I just remembered something to add to that list of things about Daeus. I don’t know if anyone on here knows this or not, but he was born in Japan – he doesn’t speak Japanese so don’t ask him to. 😀

Thank you! Yes, that makes sense. Right now one of the ideas I do have for the plot is to have a spy go to the kingdom in which the story takes place, in order to spy out the land to prepare for an attack.
