@joy Greetings and salutations! *shakes your hand vigorously* I know what you mean about having too many story ideas! I have the exact same problem. It helps to write a scene from your favorite, and decide if you like it. 🙂 Anyway, be thou welcomed to the world of Kingdom Pen! *disappears in a puff of smoke*

You know you are a writer when you make up stories to explain any minor scratches and bruises… “This cut? Oh, I got it in a sword duel. And I got this hangnail fighting an ogre.”

@graciegirl *listens to Grey havens music* Um… WOW. I likey. 😀 So, I just realized how cryptic my question was. My brain was elsewhere, apparently. 😛 I am interested in writing music, but the real reason I asked is that lyrics are good for inspiring stuck writers. Which I may be. *weak laughter*

@warrioroftherealm Hm. Good question. *assumes “thinking” pose* Is there a way you could add a mammal-ish trait to it? Fur or something. I don’t know how that would effect your vision for it, though. Can it speak? That would make it more dragon-like and less bird/dinosaur-like.

You know you are a writer when you stub your toe and your first thought is “Perfect! Now I can act out my character’s death scene!” So you crumple to the floor, clutch your “fatal” wound, say a heart-wrenching farewell to the other characters, and “die.”

You know you’re a writer when you start talking in the voice of one of your characters. Or when you see something and think “Oh, [insert character’s name here] would love this!”
