@warrioroftherealm Plotting may be one of your best helps. It will give you more confidence in writing and will take a lot of the thought work out of writing, which can be exhausting.
Also, if you have any distractions nearby while you’re writing, take those away.
Never edit while you’re writing. Always do it later.
Accountability can help.…[Read more]

@warrioroftherealm Hmm. What type of writer’s block. Like, your brain feels dead and you want to collapse on the ground and gasp? Or do you feel restless and can’t stay in front of the computer? Or do you have great concentration but aren’t feeling satisfied with any ideas? Or something else?

Time for a party!!! The event? I launched a novella today! *distributes ice cream and cheesecake* *steals confetti from Sarah to toss around* My third fairy tale retelling – this one is a Hansel and Gretal novella. Great fun to write (well, for the most part) and also exciting to be able to release and forget about while I work on my next project.…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper His hair falls around his ears… not quite shoulder length. But it’s generally brushed to one side.

@dragon-snapper I’m late to the party because everyone else seemed to say everything. But the Space Drifter books by Paul Regnier are very good. They’re well written and quite funny.

@evangelinatroy_rose I’ve heard about your brother before. It’s a sad story, but it seems there was a lot of good in it too.
That’s really neat you write biblical fiction. I’ve been thinking about giving that a try myself someday. Do you write mainly in Jesus’ times, or all over the map?

Ok people, you’re obviously dangerous. I haven’t drawn a thing in about two years, but you’re to blame that I decided I needed to draw just one. I’m surprised that it actually turned out alright, though I can think of four things at least I wish I had changed… 😉 Anyway, here’s my attempt at you Daeus villain, @jess.

Daeus replied to the topic power source for mechanical arms? in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 1 month ago
@gideon-sowdon This probably wouldn’t work and you’d need to do more research to make it sound scientific, but it might be possible to have some sort of chemical that reacts to brain signals, expanding and shrinking to move the arm with a complex system of parts worked by air pressure. It might at least sound convincing.
