Okay, let me put this a different way. Would you say you want to reach thousands of readers with your books or are you sold out on doing so?

Hi friends,
I wanted to do an informal survey. How many of you want to impact the culture with your writing?
I’ve got a follow-up question, but I’ll wait till you answer this one. 😉

Hi KeePers,
Most of your probably already know, but I just wanted to hare this for those of you who don’t.
I recently opened up part 2 of my Show Don’t Tell course for registration. You can check it out here.
And if you’ve been getting my emails about this and wouldn’t mind, I’d be interested to know what the barriers are for you. Not to sell…[Read more]

Haha. We won’t attack you. We might have to send you on some secret missions though. 😉  Can’t pass up anybody with a shield and armor.
Mind if I ask what your WIP’s about?

@sam-kowal Good revisions. (And good synopsis in general, btw. These things are hard.)
Possibly, these three revisions could help.

@sam-kowal The idea is definitely intriguing.
As far as the synopsis goes, I agree with Kate that the voice is slightly inconsistent. My main advice though is cut anything you can. Like, “believe me, that tends to curb one’s appetite could be cut. There are a few words you cut elsewhere or phrases you could rephrase to sue less word.
Also, I…[Read more]

Hi friends,
Most of you probably know about my show don’t tell course. The exciting news is that I’m going to be releasing part 2 of that course any day now.
Anyway, I had to rebuild my sales page to accommodate for the now 2 part course. I think I managed to keep it looking fairly good, but there are probably some things I could do to improve…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper That’s fine. 🙂
To clarify though, it doesn’t have to be an author you know. It could just be one you read.

Alright, KeePers, Josiah recommended I contact some published authors about this survey. I’m going to ask if they want to see the results when they come out and maybe if they want to share it with their audience too.
I’ve got a few authors in mind, but I don’t know a tone of authors. Any you can think of who might be interested in…[Read more]
