Excellent! Well written, and in a way that visualizing the scenes was not hard at all. I could almost taste the dust at the ranch, see the joy mingled with sorrow on his mother’s face as he grew, and feel the tension as Bert reached for his gun. That is one of the best signs of a good writer in my opinion. 😉

@sarah-h, How have you been going? I haven’t been doing well for a while, but am doing a little better now. I spent an hour this morning and read 13 chapters, plus some prayer/quiet time. So I’m quite happy with that.

@bluejay Hmm, sounds like you have a lot of ideas that aren’t germinating. Staring at a blank page I assume? Nothing you think up seems worth writing?
