Hi @SleepwalkingMK,
I guess you’ve already been told that this is the bestistest place on the internet, but it doesn’t hurt to have a third confirmation.
Do you write mainly fiction? What type?
Writing’s a weird profession. Most writers are totally broke, but at the same time it can be one of the most profitable professions out there. Writing…[Read more]

Howdy, Racheal. Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet.
Love all your hobby choices. Well… except coffee. Yes, I’m just one of those deniers. *sags shoulders*
By the way, your last name doesn’t happen to be Turley, does it? You just happen to sound like somebody I kinda sorta know-ish with that last name.

@emma-flournoy Sure. Basically just drop me a note every now and then so I won’t forget. You don’t need to point out anything in particular.

@emma-flournoy @kate-flournoy I wanted to let you know I’m going to try to be maintaining a better balance between real honest personal communication and my craziness. It’s not that I suddenly abhor being light-hearted (at all), but I’ve just had the phrase “familiarity breeds contempt” running through my brain over and over again and so I’m going…[Read more]

I’m not worried. Don’t worry. 😛
But if I’M being too familiar, don’t hesitate to let me know. I don’t want to be breeding any contempt. 😉
I’d be glad to help you remember, but how exactly do you mean? I wouldn’t like to tell you to stop being lighthearted if you were; how do you mean?-

@Emma-Flournoy no I didn’t; my tags have been acting weird lately. :/
But now that I am here— @Daeus sure, no problem. I know exactly what you mean. 😛

@kate-flournoy Well, you know, you can never be too hard with heroes. If they’ve gotta experience character development, then the only loving thing I can do for them is to be mean.

@kate-flournoy What type of answer is that? I told you reform him.
@emma-flournoy Oh good, I’m helping you. You’re now a heartless block of stone.

Give him my warm regards. I’ll have to start shopping for a card fitting for the occasion. What type of present do you think he’d like?

@kate-flournoy Oh really? I never would have guessed.
Speaking of which, I just chastised Harold for an impertinent remark on that count. I’m holding you personally responsible for reforming him.

Oh, I’m glad @jess. It almost consoles me for Emma’s degradation of dark hair.

I cut my brother’s hair once when I was only three, doing it with plastic scissors. It ended up being so bad that my mom had to take him to the barber.

@kate-flournoy Oh, well, nobody knows for sure, but this is definitely what’s happening. So Josiah just became editor in chief. Coincidence? I think not. This movement is a certain sign of a grab for power. Only problem is Reagan and the other staff members still balance out the power. Hence, in a master stroke of villainy worthy of writing an…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy *chokes* Um, yeah. Not at all creepy that I can think of.
Now what is creepy is how often authors choke. It almost seems like a conspiracy or something.

@winter-rose Finished now. Got one chapter edited — 2,111 words. I think that’s fairly good for me and I’m especially glad to be getting back into doing this after missing it for so long.
Thanks!

@emma-flournoy Ha! Be thou at peace. Bewilderinizing is too bewildering for me. I’ve given it up at least for a while now. You can consider me sincere. Word of honor.
As long as you didn’t think anything in my post starting with, “Kate, now you’re just being impertinent” was the least bit sincere, you haven’t been had. I didn’t try anything a…[Read more]
