Oookay, that’s a lot to catch up on. XD
@introvert_girl Right. The emotions in my character should be strengthening them… I’ll try to keep that in mind…
@ethryndal This is for the third book in the trilogy, so I can understand why you’re not seeing it. I think one of the problems might be that I’m focusing too much on characters and not…[Read more]

Hi all!
Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been around much lately. I just wanted to let you know I haven’t been ignoring you. A lot of changes have been happening lately and I hate to say this, but I’m afraid I must…I guess what I’m trying to say is…goodbye. 😢 Y’all have been the bestistiest and I’ll miss every one of you sorely, and…[Read more]

@Dekreel This is great. XD And I agree with @ClaireC, the small installments are nice; makes it easier to read and in one sitting. 😉
@PerfectFifths If you really could cut in perfect fifths that would be quite a feat.

Hey everyone,
I wrote a poem today for my writing class, and its free verse, but sort of structured. Here are the first two stanzas:
What can ever substitute
for shushed hysterics in the wee hours of the morning
those conspiratorial smiles across the hallway
and those times when nothing need be said — the silence
only broken by taps and…[Read more]

The Gif Hiders
Part Two: The Bird and her Cake
The Kingdom of Pen did grow weirder and weirder for Jenna, but only gradually. After a few days, ever since she had come, she had met some centaurs, a mermaid, another dragon, a tiger, and even a droid. But the weirdness didn’t exactly just rocket into the air until about three weeks after she had f…[Read more]

Alrighty, guys…
I could use some help on this front. I’ve learned pretty well over the past few months how to show and not tell, but I actually am using that too much.
Don’t get me wrong. Always show over tell, but my problem is that I’m focusing way too much on the emotion. And Ike… Zelaya, they’ve all gone dismal.
How do I refocus my…[Read more]

@skredder, Thanks. 😉 That would make it extra special. You’re right, that is an aspect I hadn’t really considered…Well, hey at least you finished one. That I haven’t done as of yet! 🙂 …Yay, so maybe only three more posts to stop bumbling places. 😉
@clairec, I love the Rogers & Hammerstein Cinderella. What a wonderful opportunity. I really…[Read more]

@skredder, thanks. Singing is fun! F1 is wonderful, I really enjoy listening to low men’s voices. Do you sing? What’s your favorite genre to write in and why?
@sam-kowal I’m so happy you think it sounds epic. I guess we’ll find out whether I have what it takes to write a story on such a topic and have it come out epic. 😉 So, I’m curious, you…[Read more]

@clairec Nice. I got a B.A. in music with voice as my primary instrument. I sang a lot of opera for both my senior and junior recitals, I believe that’s really when I came to love the style. So, out of curiosity are you a Soprano or an Alto? Haha, writing has been the same way for me. Isn’t it hilarious to look back on the stories you wrote when…[Read more]

@clairec Oh, it’s not as huge as it sounds! They’re not all 500 page novels. 😀 Six books in a children’s adventure series only about 90-150 pages each. Those are the ones I got good reviews on, and I published them back in 2014-2016. The other one is a 375 page time travel novel which I now see is not as quite good as I thought when I pub…[Read more]

@clairec I know! That feels so long ago!
I’ll make it as cliche as I can. (bloomin’ onions, kangaroos, surf boards, safaris, range rovers, jeeps, and sausages.) 😛

@dragon-snapper, and cricket, rugby, koalas, sand, sunburn, not knowing what snow is, etc. Looking forward to it! 😀

@daeus Actually, after reading everyone else’s answers I want to clarify. I already have self-published seven books and am in the process of publishing another. I have very good reviews from several of the many purchasers of my first six books. (I’ve sold over a hundred books.) So, though as @clairec said, writing is more of a hobby for me th…[Read more]

I was just thinking about you earlier today. *sniff* But I think you’ve got the right perspective; God does know what’s best, even if it doesn’t make sense at the time. Or if, yeah, change isn’t the most comfy thing on earth.
Thank you for being such a great kapeefer! 😀 *offers Aberdeen a rough draft full of delicious adverbs*
@mariposa
@dragon-snapper Aw, thanks. *Aberdeen eats adverbs* Me and him will never forget you, dear Snapper.
@mariposa aw, we’ll miss you lots! *reaches for tissue* but I appreciate that you’re going in the direction you think God is taking you 🙂 I’ll definitely keep following your blog!
@jenwriter17 I can’t begin to tell you how encouraging your comments have been to me. Thank you for always being so sweet and wonderful. 🙂
@mariposa I really do enjoy your blog and your artwork is amazing! It’s inspiring me to keep drawing too 🙂 sorry I haven’t been as active on commenting though, life is just busy right now.
@mariposa, Oh no!!!!! I’m going to miss you!
Thank you for the input you’ve had here.
I’ll be following you blog too.
May God bless you in whatever He has in store for you. 🙂
@clairec Thank you. It means a lot to know you’re reading my blog. I will miss you too. 😢
Shucks, I’m gonna miss you around here. Ah well, God knows best. I can’t wait for you to find out where He’s taking you. So long for now, my friend. You’ve been a wonderful addition to our Keeper circle, and we’re going to be sorely lacking in bright colors and dinosaurs without you. 💕
I’ll be keeping up to date on all your platforms. 🙂
@ethryndal The feeling is mutual. *sniff* Why do you guys have to be so amazing? That’s what makes this goodbye all the harder.
That, my friend, is EXACTLY the point. It’s the safety measures we take to make sure as few people leave us as possible. 😉
*hugs you tightly* I’m so sorry to see you go, lovely girl 🙁 You’ve been a wonderful addition to the team, as well as an incredible encourager and friend. Can I have the link to your blog? You’re not getting rid of me that easily.💕
@cindygreen *hugs you back while sniffling* Thank you for your very kind, sweet words, Cindy. You’ve inspired me ever since I read your first KP poem. ❤️
